Communism!

This should come as no surprise, to anyone who’s ever read the Communist Manifesto and/or the Democrat Party political platform:

The Senate moved against the worsening mortgage crisis Friday, voting to make it easier for thousands of homeowners with ballooning interest rates to refinance into federally insured loans.

The legislation, approved 93-1, would allow the Federal Housing Administration to back refinanced loans for borrowers who are delinquent on payments because their mortgages are resetting to sharply higher rates from low initial “teaser” levels.

The bill also tries to make FHA loans more attractive than risky subprime loans by accepting lower down payments and expanding the eligibility for counseling for homeowners having difficult with their mortgage payments.

An estimated 2 million to 2.5 million adjustable-rate mortgages are scheduled to reset in the next year, jumping to much steeper rates that could cost borrowers their homes. The wave could crest during the presidential and congressional election campaigns next year, and politicians have been wrestling with what the government’s response should be.

The Senate’s proposed changes are especially important now, given the credit crisis that has made it much more difficult and more expensive for people to refinance or get financing to buy a home. Private lenders have been reluctant to make new loans.

Allowing the federal government to insure more and bigger loans should help provide some relief and ease the credit crunch.

Of course it provides relief. It’s a public welfare program for stupid people too lazy to read the terms of their mortgage contracts. It’s Communism by another name, the idea that the State is supposed to take care of everyones’ problems no matter how stupid or minor or trivial, or no matter how culpable the person is for them. Leftards want Big Brother to bail them out of every crisis, without fail.

It’s not unusual for Democrat voters to feel entitled to MY tax dollars when they do stupid things, nor is it unusual for pandering RINOs to go along with such measures for propoganda purposes. What IS unusual is for Senator Brownback to endorse such a shameful, Socialist, unAmerican measure.

I’m trying to figure out what God is making Senator Brownback do, here. Does God want to punish the American people for not flocking to Brownback’s standard as readily as they now swarm to Huckabee’s? Or is something else going on here? Is this Brownback being weighed in the balance, and found wanting? Or am I misreading things entirely? Am I being weighed in the balance, and found wanting?

I must pray on this. Please pray for me, and for Senator Brownback. And for yourselves, America.

UPDATE:  I forgot to mention my praise for Senator Kyl.  Kudos to the good Arizonan, and those who voted for him.  You’ve got a great Senator there, Arizona.

Huckaboom Thanks To Brownback?

President Huckabee? The recent surge in Mike Huckabee’s stock has been nothing short of phenomenal. There’s no doubt about it. Is it Divine Providence? Several months ago, Huckabee, like Senator Brownback, was considered a long shot. But that has changed dramatically.

Who could have forseen a couple of months ago that in December, Huck would be leading Mittens in Iowa a staggering 39% to 23%? Giuliani, at a meager 8%, is virtually a non-factor like nutjob Ron Paul. He’s way down where many expected Huck and Brownback to be. Incredible.

In South Carolina, another primary state, Huckabee has shot past his rivals to take the top spot. Again, totally unexpected. Unprecedented even. Just what’s going on here? Is this the hand of G-d, tipping the scales to the leader that He, in his infinite wisdom, wants to lead the free world? If so, it’s best not to argue with Him.

I think all of us at Blogs 4 Brownback knew that it was only a matter of time before Republican primary voters got serious and finally realized that the frontrunners, especially Romney and Giuliani, were unacceptable RINOs and that when the time came, they would turn to a real Christian conservative. And they have begun to do that with only a short time to the primaries. In the nick of time, as it were.

We at B4B suspected that this would benefit Sam Brownback. And it likely would have if he’d only have stayed in the race. Sadly he bowed out too early, and this has given Huckabee the lion’s share of serious and thoughtful Republican voters. If only Sam had hung on a little longer, he’d probably be surging in the polls now as well as or instead of Huck. Ah, what could have been.

Huckabee is getting more attention now, a lot of it negative, as he is being seen as a serious threat by the RINO supporters, the media and the power elite. He’s been taking a beating from political sites like Race 4 2008 and from hacks and morons like Rich Lowry. But despite a couple weeks of relentless attacks Huck continues to soar. He flies like a mighty eagle while continuing to take flak and small arms fire.

And now he’s actually starting to get more money from donors and the support of professional politicos and GOP insiders like the brilliant Republican strategist Ed Rollins. Huck may well be the nominee, thanks in part to Sam Brownback exiting the race. And I guess, for that, more power to him. At least he’s a good Christian with executive and leadership experience.

Good luck, Huck. But watch out for the coming Sam Brownback write-in campaign. We aren’t going to just let you walk away with it. But it looks like you just might pull it off. What an amazing campaign season this has been so far. I think we can all agree on that.

Have a good weekend, everybody!

Update: For those of you who don’t know who Ed Rollins is and how his joining Huckabee’s team is significant:

A veteran Republican strategist considered by many the architect of Ronald Reagan’s 1984 landslide election victory is set to take the helm of Mike Huckabee’s surging presidential bid, CNN has learned.

Update 2: In addition to leading in Iowa and South Carolina, Huckabee also leads in Florida at 27%. Will there be a Huckasweep?

Update 3: Former Republican John Cole points and laughs at a bunch of so-called Republicans wetting their collective pants in fear over the Huckaboom. Huckenfreude.

Mitt Romney = Underdog?

UnderdogYes friends, the Mittster is playing the expectations game.  Now, rather than simply claiming the mantle of Ronald Reagan reincarnated, he’s referring to himself as Underdog.  Try has-been or also-ran.  Those sound good too.

Mitt Romney declared for the first time publicly that he is the underdog to his rival, Mike Huckabee, at this point in Iowa’s fast-approaching Republican caucuses on Jan. 3.

Most underdogs don’t exactly spend millions more than their rival, but perhaps there’s a new meaning to the word “underdog” that I am not familiar with.  This would be like Rocky Balboa claiming to be the underdog in a fight with a little old lady with a walker.  But when it comes to OvenMitt, insanity reigns.

I can only imagine that the feisty little upstart Ron Paul bristled at the “underdog” comment.  But then, as far as the Ron Paul Revolution goes, that dog won’t hunt.

The Grinches Who Stole Christmas

The GrinchIn a staggering development, the nine stupid congress critters who tried to steal Christmas were all…wait for it…DEMOCRAPS!

Congressman Steve King reacted this morning to the nine “NO” votes on his resolution to honor Christmas and the Christian faith. The vote shocked Capitol Hill observers because votes on similar resolutions honoring the holidays of Islam and Hinduism passed without any NO votes.

Cindy Lou WhoDid you catch that?  Cindy Lou Who is in tears right now.  But the Dhimmicraps would like to shove her into a burkha, forthwith.  So much for visions of sugarplums, dear Cindy.

The nine Members voting NO were Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY), Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) (FL), Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA), Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA), Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), and Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).

Green Eggs and HamAnd here’s the kicker, folks.

None of the nine voted against resolutions honoring the Islamic holiday of Ramadan and the Hindu holiday of Diwali.

Yep, you heard that right.

None of the nine voted against resolutions honoring the Islamic holiday of Ramadan and the Hindu holiday of Diwali.

It’s time to fight against these domestic enemies who hate America and despise G-d.  To arms!

Alan Keyes Highlight Reel

Since this is a fair and balanced political blog, it’s time to give Ambassador Alan Keyes his due. Here is a highlight reel featuring the very best of Presidential candidate Alan Keyes from today’s debate in Iowa. Enjoy!

Update: Alan Keyes shortly after the debate, reciting Ezekiel 25:17.  I think you can also seen Ron Paul towards the end of the clip.  This may not be safe for work or for younger children.  Parental discretion is advised.

Barack Hussein Obama: Dope Head

Obama bin LadenIt looks like the free ride is coming to an end for Barack Hussein Obama.  I’m not even sure that Oprah can save him now.

Billy Shaheen, the co-chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in New Hampshire, raised the issue of Sen. Barack Obama’s past admissions of drug use in discussing the relative electability of the Democrats seeking the presidential nomination today.

Drug use?  Hello.  Or should I say, goodbye?

Shaheen, a lawyer and influential state power broker, mentioned as an example Obama’s use of cocaine and marijuana as a young man, which Obama has been open about in his memoir and on the trail.

Sparked up a few spliffs, eh?  Fired up a few rocks?  You’re done, pal.

Shaheen said Obama’s candor on the subject would “open the door” to further questions. “It’ll be, ‘When was the last time? Did you ever give drugs to anyone? Did you sell them to anyone?'” Shaheen said.

Obama’s likely replies are, “this morning,” “of course,” and “sure!”

“There are so many openings for Republican dirty tricks. It’s hard to overcome.”

Republicans have nothing to do with this.  It’s the long knives at the Hillary Clinton campaign.  And nobody forced Obama to get blotto.  He did it himself.  It’s a question of judgement.  It’s a question of morals.  It’s a question of ethics.  The answers will likely disturb the electorate.

Developing….

Vampires are Pure Evil

NosferatuOne thing that all right-thinking can agree upon is that vampirism is a grievous sin. The act of undeath may, or may not, be valid in reality. However, the concept of vampirism, and of related practices of blood-sucking, Satanism, depravity, and murder, is alive and well, and its address is in the Democrat Party.

Vampirism has been with us since time immemorial. It, and its related sin, liberalism, latch onto the body (individual’s, or politic’s) neck, siphon the life force from them, and corrupt the remainder into a willing acolyte. Whether one is talking about a Bram Stoker character or a nation like Sweden, the effects of vampirism are the same: a corrupt, degraded addiction to social welfare programs, the tax dollars of others, and the life force of whatever society of individuals one happens upon.

VampyreIt is no coincidence that vampire expert Ann Rice endorsed John Kerry in 2004. It is no coincidence that she endorses Hillary Clinton today. Nor is it a coincidence that John Kerry is directly descended from Vlad Tepes, otherwise known as Count Dracula.

Yes, the Democrat Party’s record is rife with links and connections to vampires and vampirism. And these are the moonbats running Congress today. It’s no wonder that John Gibson was able to pinpoint the link between vampirism and the decision to cut and run in Iraq:

What should we say about politicians who actually fear a good report on the surge? Whose nightly prayers are evidently that their county lose a war because otherwise they might lose an election? Oh the panic, oh the terror! Win the war?

Believe it or not there are Americans for whom that is very, very bad news. You wonder how they sleep, unless it’s upside down in a cave. Vampires don’t have trouble sleeping.

That’s My Word.

VampPresident Brownback should use his mandate to begin the destruction of all vampires in America. Some of those vampires may be the ones spoken of in the Bible. Some of them may be the ones wearing suits and peace symbols in Washington, DC. All of them must be destroyed if they threaten our lives, or the life force of our society. President Brownback should send Ann Rice to Guantanamo, as well, if she won’t stop spouting this leftist nonsense and endorsing vampire candidates for office.

Vampirism is no laughing matter. We patriots, Christians, and Republicans must do all in our power to stand against vampirism, Satanism, Sodomism, Marxism, Heliocentrism, atheism, secularism, Islamism, Paganism, liberalism, anti-Triclavianism, and any other anti-American dunderheaded evil nonsense -ism you can think of.

May God bless these United States!

Why Do Liberals Hate Santa?

Santa ClausOnce again, The War On Christmas enters a frenzy in the isolated moonbat enclaves of our nation. For yet another year, the shock troops of leftist intolerance and hatred continue to demonize decent, hard-working, family-oriented Americans for their continued devotion to the faith of the Founding Fathers and their celebration of the birth of the Son of Our Father in Heaven. Yet again, baby Jesus is recrucified on the altar of atheism, secularism, Islamism, Paganism, and Darwinism.

Why do the liberals hate Christmas so much? Surely not even they can hate Jesus to such an extent. I will concede that liberals despise Jesus and everything He stands for, but that alone doesn’t even begin to explain their visceral hatred for the Christmas season. I refuse to accept such a facile explanation. Deeper motives are afoot.

My inquiries into these matters have led me to what appears an inescapable conclusion: liberals hate Santa. Liberals despise Santa with a white-hot furor rivalling only their hatred for law and order; even their hatred for America and Christianity may take a second seat to this unfathomable loathing. Liberals despise Santa like Satan despises God, and himself.

Santa Free ZoneThat conclusion begs the question, however: why do liberals hate Santa? The answers are, undoubtedly, legion, but these are the most common factors I’ve been able to discern:

– Santa is a kindly, gentle, loveable old man. His values are conservative, his demeanor jolly. This is an affront to the values of the Atheists’ “god”, Satan, whose name Santa jovially parodies with his own. Satan is a jealous master, and brooks no disrespect from the impishly virtuous. His minions serve his bidding, to their eventual damnation.

– Giving, sharing, and love are inherently anathema to liberals. These are the values that make America and Christianity great. Liberals have made it abundantly clear that neither God nor country hold any appeal for them. Santa embodies these values fully; ergo, he is the face of their enemy, Goodness.

– Only Satan and his instrument, science, may be worshipped in Liberal enclaves. Science tells us that all beliefs, morality, and emotion are meaningless; Satan, the Lord of Evil and Oblivion, exults at this false gospel. He sows other lies, as well, like spiderlings in a malevolent wind. Liberals are quick to wish each other happy Ramadan, happy Kwanza, happy Hanukah, merry Festivus, etc. Yet, say “Merry Christmas” to one of them, and watch him hold his ears and shriek at you. Some places even call it the “C-word”. You can wish your terrorist buddy a happy suicide bombing, but wish him good fellowship on behalf of the birth of God, and somehow you’re the bad guy!

Santa ClausSanta stands for goodness, light, truth, and true science. He stands for everything liberals, and Satan, despise. It is our sacred duty as Republicans, as Christians, as Americans, and as decent human beings to celebrate Christmas and Santa Claus as loudly and as publicly as possible. To do so is to greatly pain the Evil Ones.

In the film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” a small child states that “Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.” That’s quite true, but so is the converse: every time a Christmas cheer sounds out, a demon perishes in agony, and his left-wing human host-sacrifice dies screaming as blood pours from his ears, nose, eyes, and throat. Obviously, Frank Kapra felt it was inappropriate to show such scenes in a Christmas film; but those of us fighting for the existence of Christmas itself must remove the blindfolds from our eyes and have no illusions about the foes we confront. Liberals have demons, and those demons give liberals powers. But those powers are as naught against the force of Love itself.

So, Merry Christmas, Satan! I hope Beelzebub and his human host, Nancy Pelosi, enjoy my missive!

Family Values…in an Anime? Is It Possible?

ClannadI’m not really sure, but I am encouraged by an anime recommended to me by a Christian friend. I don’t know if it’s possible that a Japanese cartoon has actually bucked the trend of violence and sexuality so rampant in anime, but perhaps it has happened at last.

I have only seen and commented on one episode of Clannad, so far, but although it does not glorify Christ, it does seem to put a certain amount of emphasis on family values. I know I’m sticking my neck out here, but perhaps I have found an anime that actually has something relevant to say.

When I am proven wrong, you folks can dogpile on me. That would be fine with me. But perhaps this is the beginning of a wholesome trend. Maybe Japan can be saved. One baby step at a time. We can only hope.

I know I’m going out on a limb here. So I hope that I am not condemned for it. Perhaps my investigations into anime have gone too far. If so, please forgive me.

Update: Watch the first episode over at B4C and judge for yourself.

Huckabee: Looking Out for All Americans

Filed under: Health Care,Homosexuality,Mike Huckabee — Psycheout @ 6:11 pm
Tags:

I Like MikeMike Huckabee has been on the rise lately, in case y’all hadn’t noticed the Huckaboom.  And why not?  He’s a good man: a former Baptist preacher.  A true Christian leader.  Heck, even “roundhouse kick” Chuck Norris endorsed him.  And Huck’s just full of good ideas for America.  Like this one:

Mike Huckabee once advocated isolating AIDS patients from the general public, opposed increased federal funding in the search for a cure and said homosexuality could “pose a dangerous public health risk.”

Now that makes a lot of sense.  Homosexuals do indeed oppose a risk to the normal population and they are often, liberals claim, targets of violence by “intolerant” folks.  So isolating them from the general population keeps them safe as well as the rest of us.

Huck also has some interesting and innovative ideas on how to fund AIDS research without reaching his hand into your wallet (the Democrat party answer to everything).

Besides a quarantine, Huckabee suggested that Hollywood celebrities fund AIDS research from their own pockets, rather than federal health agencies.

They’ve got lots of money don’t they?  Probably money that they’d otherwise blow on fornication parties and, well, blow.

In 1992, Huckabee wrote, “If the federal government is truly serious about doing something with the AIDS virus, we need to take steps that would isolate the carriers of this plague.”

I’m not sure if this is still Huck’s current position, but he certainly was forward thinking to come up with such final solutions back in 1992.  I’m sure he’s come up with lots of great ideas since then.  A vote for Huck just might be a vote to end the AIDS menace once and for all.  And that’s a good thing that we can all agree on.

Bill O also added:

“Satan is running the DailyKos. Yes, he is!”
