Sam Brown

Hi. I’m Sam Brown, your friendly moderator at B4B. I do my best to keep the conversation clean and suitable for all members of the family. You might know me as “Ed Note,” as I interject myself into user comments when commenters forget to embed a link or use vile language that doesn’t add to their point. If you obey the rules, you will not hear from me, but cross me and repeatedly break those rules and you will be banned. I’m Thor around here. I lay down the hammer when necessary. I hope you enjoy B4B, but keep it clean!

Lyssie (Larissa B.)

I think that Brownback is the best choice for America. I greatly admire his heart, his humanity, and his respect for all life, all around the world. My own politics are somewhat libertarian, and I’m Catholic (but respect people from other faiths, as long as they are kind and decent human beings.) I’m an avid hiker and like nothing better than hitting the trails with my two Airedales. (Hey, that rhymed!)

Psycheout

I support Sam Brownback. So should you!

My primary focus is conservative (not necessarily GOP) politics. I know that Sam Brownback is the best conservative in the running for the GOP nomination so far and attempt to prove that to our readers every day. At the very least I want voters to “just say no” to RINOs. I tend to focus on politics so most of the time people tend to ignore what I say. 😦

Sisyphus

Sam Brownback is the best hope for America at this point. That’s why I support him. As for me, not much to tell: I’m a recovering Democrat who didn’t wake up until 9/11/01, I come from the Northeast (still live here, for the time being), and I consider myself a religious man and a patriot. Beyond that, not much I’d care to tell. This is a page supporting Brownback’s candidacy, not Sisyphus’s. Anyone wishing to reach me by email may do so at sisyphus2000@gmail.com.

  1. Please go do something useful for society. This guy and conservative capitalist politics are a waste of time, they have brought us nothing but war and hate.

  2. I obviously don’t expect an honest response to this, but what exactly did Brownback do to piss you off so badly? Does the guy really need a blog like this sabotage his already hopeless campaign?

I must admit, though, it is pretty funny.

  3. God this whole site is genius– pure, satirical genius. Keep up the good work!

  4. It’s not satire. This is for real. Real as abortion, real as Jesus.

  5. Come, on, this IS satire. Nobody is REALLY as pig-ignorant as Sisyphus. This is a brilliant send-up of the right wing creos that DO support Brownbeck. I mean come on – Sisyphus and Lyssie even post in their bios that “Sam Brownback is the best hope for America at this point”. Even Dembski’s math couldn’t figure the odds on this being even close to reality! I have heard through reliable sources that Brownbeck’s mother wouldn’t even vote for him (via personal information), so why would anyone waste a thought, let alone a vote on him?

Keep up the good work – funny, funny stuff!

  6. “It’s not satire. This is for real. Real as abortion, real as Jesus.”

I am so glad you said real as Jesus. That means that Brownback and all of you wonderful Christian right-wing religious fanatics go to his house of religion on Sunday and pray to a deceased Jewish Rabbi!

Can’t argue with historical facts – Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi and if he returned today he would look at all “Christian” and asked “Why aren’t you Jewish?”

  7. I only hope and pray this site is satire. Unfortunately, I think it’s been hijacked by an all-too-sincere and all-too-misguided wingbat nutcase. Have fun providing fodder for Brownback critics, Sisyphus.

  8. I am a new here but I think that what this site is trying to accomplish is just great. I truly hope that Brownback is the next president.

  13. With the idiocy parrotted by the liberal trolls on this site, I suspect many of them are parodies. What’s with liberals labelling everything they disagree with as satire? Denial? Projection? Stupidity?

    Comment by Psycheout — July 23, 2007 @ 2:31 pm | Reply

  14. This site is satire. No two ways about it. Most people here agree that your oppinions are so absurd that they must be.

Side note, of all the “B4B” team, only Lyssie seems at all reasonable. I’d like to here her talk once in a while rather than all Psycheout’s static.

  15. You should add Mrs. T.D. Gaines-Crockett (copyrighted) to the team. Under description, put “Withered old husk”.

  17. It seems that you have posted a video of
Frank Zappa (of blessed memory) as an endorsement of Mr. Brownsback’s candidacy.
When Mr. Zappa stated that he thought America was headed towards a “fascist theocracy” it seemed like a presaging of Mr. Brownspack pursuit of the presidency. As an aside, this video appears to have been posted without the permission of the copyright holder(s) in direct
and literal contradiction to the Federal Law.

Frank Zappa was a genius, musically and oratorically. The others on Crossfire, in my opinion, were neither geniuses, nor big thinkers.

Mr. Brownsback, in my opinion, is in the “Crossfire” group and will not be particulary important to American history.

    Sincerely,
    The Legndary Danny O’Doul

  18. Your comment was stupid on many, many levels, Danny. Not only that, it’s not even in the right thread.

BTW, I got that video off of Youtube. I didn’t steal it and post it in violation of copyright laws. It’s CNN, not a movie.

    Comment by Sisyphus — September 6, 2007 @ 11:45 am | Reply

  19. It is not frequent that The Legendary Danny O’Doul is referred to as being “stupid on many levels.” Especially, by a barely literate budding politico who has a misguided view on both politics and federal copyright law.

The object of your political affection may very much seek out supports who spew fecal spewtum of your variety, without any valuable content, or intelligible point.

Sisyphus, maybe one day you will get that ball up the mountain, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

    Sincerely,
    The Legendary Danny O’Doul

  30. All of this hate being passed back and forth here is not always the fun and games that we would all like for it to be. Hate can be more devastating than many of us are fully aware of. I just found out for myself that I am capable of a much deeper hate than I ever thought possible, and it can be the worst feeling you can ever have.
I reinserted the link to my Myspace page for this comment. And I would like to ask that those who are really serious about what they say here go there and read my last two blogs, what I say there has nothing to do with this site or anyone who posts here so I would appreciate it if you do not mention any of it back here. I just want some of you to realise that hate can do real damage and that damage can sometimes be irrepairable. I am having a hard time dealing with this hate as I have never experienced it before and it really scares me.
I also know that at least a couple of you will use this as a weopon against me here on this site, for any who do, all I can say is that feel sorry for you. I will not mention the subject matter here and I hope no one else does either, I just want a few of you who truly hate each other here to know that this is a place to argue different opinions and to insult each other, but the real hate we should reserve for those who have actually done things to deserve it.
In that light, I would also like to sincerely apologise to Bob Corker (and a couple others) for some of the hateful things I have said to him in these threads, for I have meant many of them and I regret that now. Corker is not the monster we would all like to think of him as, there are real monsters out there, and those are the ones we should worry about.
I will be leaving for awhile shortly to spend some time with my family, and I hope to be back in full fighting form on my return, but for now I just want to wish the best for all of you here, from both sides of these arguments.
Keep up the good fights here everyone, but let’s all try and keep the hate where it belongs, buried and forgotten.

  31. Corker isn’t as bad as say, David Miscavige– but bad nonetheless.

    Comment by Dio Brando — March 3, 2008 @ 6:45 pm | Reply

  32. You’re right Dio. I thought I might find a bit of good in him if he read what happens in the real world with real evil people.

I guess that’s what I get for thinking when I’m not used to it.

  33. Arn, I read your post 30. Apology accepted. Also, sorry I didn’t read this earlier.

“No, you’d just delete and alter people’s posts like an immature child.”

You know I could be added as merely a contributor, right?

“Translation: “ah gots me a noose! we’s can go’n hang some nigars, spics, chinks, and womens!””

    Shut up.

“The Republicans are going to lose this time.”

The Republican nominee, John McCain, will, or he’d better. Huckabee and Brownback, however, will inherent the Presidency after 4 years of Democratic tyranny.

“God really doesn’t hate blacks, Mexicans, French, and the platypus.”

He doesn’t hate blacks or Mexicans. The French have committed lots of atrocities in Africa, however. Platypii are demons, too.

“The world is round and orbits the sun, not vice versa.”

    The Bible says no.

  34. “Corker isn’t as bad as say, David Miscavige– but bad nonetheless.”
The only difference between the two is that Miscavige has the resources to make good on his twisted depravity.

  36. Also, it appears that the original post on the platypus was correct on one point, the plural for platypus is actually platypuses not platypi as some argued on that post. Platypi doesn’t even show up in the dictionary but platypuses does.

As for their being demons, we all know how stupid that idea is.
