The UN Bites the Hand that Feeds It

Filed under: Defending America,Taxes,Terrorism,Weirdos and Hippies — Sisyphus @ 3:55 am

Via the Drudge Report, we learn that the UN is a selfish, ingrate child who blames its loving parent for its own ineptitude and failures:

The highest ranking UN official in Israel has warned that American pressure has “pummelled into submission” the UN’s role as an impartial Middle East negotiator in a damning confidential report.
The 53-page “End of Mission Report” by Alvaro de Soto, the UN’s Middle East envoy, obtained by the Guardian, presents a devastating account of failed diplomacy and condemns the sweeping boycott of the Palestinian government. It is dated May 5 this year, just before Mr de Soto stepped down.

This is the dividend on all that time and energy we’ve invested in this idiotic United Nations/One World Government project. Democrats from Truman to Clinton have poured tens of millions of our tax dollars down the drain, financing a hideous clique that enabled our enemies from day one. From giving Krushchev a forum in which to terroristically threaten the American people to giving Libya a seat on the same human rights panel that chastised us, the UN has been a never-ending joke.

The more research one does into the UN, the more one realizes that it’s time for this archaic relic of the Second World War to go. What else to say about a forum WE pay for that gives idiot terrorists opportunities to spew garbage like this:

“To achieve One World Government it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, their loyalty to family traditions and national identification.” – Brock Chisholm, while director of UN World Health Organization.

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” – Maurice Strong, United Nations Head of the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro

“Food is Power! We use it to control behavior. Some may call it bribery. We do not apologize.” – Catherine Bertini, Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Agriculture, speaking at the UN World Food Summit, Nov 1996.

Anyone who ascribes to such views is beyond immoral: he’s anti-American. The good people over at Get US Out! of the United Nations have said it far more succinctly and powerfully than I can ever hope to:

World government through the United Nations is a serious threat to the freedom of all Americans. Imagine being held prisoner in a foreign land and tried in an international court with judges from such countries as Afghanistan, China, or Iraq.

The United Nations (financed by American taxpayers!) has long been a safe harbor for terrorist and oppressive regimes which target America as the enemy.

Even more alarming, the United Nations is beginning to take aim at the God-given rights enjoyed by Americans since our great nation was founded. The right to self defense, use your own property, or even the right to have children may all be trampled if the United Nations is allowed to have the power it seeks.

I, for one, will fight for the rights my forefathers have bestowed on me. UN peacekeepers seeking to forcibly repeal the Second Amendment and sterilize the American population will have to pry my gun from my cold, dead hands. That is a promise.

  1. I don’t get it. The UN is on US soil. So we just go in, kick everybody out, lock up the building, and that’s that! No more UN. It’s basically just a matter of ejecting some well-dressed squatters.

If they want to set up One World Government, let them go someplace else. If they make too much progress in Venezuela or France or wherever they go, then we can bomb them there.

Exactly. We should fight them somewhere else, so we don’t have to fight them here.

  3. Now that Israel has left its Histradrut Labor leadership and gone to the right, the International Left behind most of the terror-enabling at the UN hates Israel with unbridled passion. Along with the USA and Australia, two bastions of sanity[for the time being] in a world being perverted by “That Old Mole,” which continues to cause death and destruction in Zimbabwe, Cuba, N. Korea, [Saddam’s Iraq was also a Socialist paradise in the making], and Venezuela/Bolivia as K-12 aspirants to economic suicide.

I know. Islands of wisdom in a sea of barbarism. We’ll win out in the end, though. Civilization always does.

  5. It’s time for one world government – with Jesus Christ as Lord. Perhaps when the Bible spoke of the Anti-Christ it wasn’t a single person but this UN organization, the creation of socialist Roosevelt and Communist Stalin.

Perhaps. But I intend to be among the Raptured, so I’m pretty sure it hasn’t happened yet. Jerry Falwell is gone, but Pat Robertson, Pope Benedict and I remain. Ergo, the Rapture has not yet occurred.

  7. Those United Nations goons have always gotten on my nerves! Why haven’t we killed them by now? Let’s take one of those nuclear weapons they’re always complaining about, and drop it on their heads. That will solve quite a few problems around here, if you ask me.

  9. The UN is nothing more than a collecting of thugs. It is the Mafia on a world wide scale. I am sick and tired of America being bossed around by it! The UN proved it was pure evil when it refused to support our Liberation of the Iraqi people. This is after Iraq stagged the 911 attacks! I say enough is enough. Out with the UN.

I agree. But Marcia may be on to something. It may be simpler just to kill them and blow up their city.

Try getting some intel on the UN before ranting, mkay?

Another whacko wanting a global thermonuclear war…

Not to dissaopint you, but civilization didn´t always win. Examples: The Chinese high culture getting run over by a bunch of nomads.

Would you please show me that 100% irrefutable evidence that claims that Saddam had anything to do with al queida? I wonder, because even your government by now said that there were none.

“I agree. But Marcia may be on to something. It may be simpler just to kill them and blow up their city.”

Perhaps. But then again, with all the politicians in Washinton out of the pictrue, I´d be a civil war most likely. And then the USA are down on the ground whatever happens. Most likely it´ll break up into several nations.

Who needs your protection? Seeing that the combined military power of all EU countries would likely even exceed yours and that europe has the nuke, too, why should we be afraid of anybody?

Our military budget exceeds that of the EU and China combined. Our troops are battle-hardened; apart from the Serbs and the Russians, no one in Europe’s fought a serious war in about 50 years.

  18. “Our military budget exceeds that of the EU and China combined. Our troops are battle-hardened; apart from the Serbs and the Russians, no one in Europe’s fought a serious war in about 50 years.”

Battle-hardened? Wow, destroying an army that was geared with stuff from the early 70´s. Honestly, any western european army could have swept the floor with the Iraquis just as good. (And as Iraq is by now mostly peace-keeping, europeans on the balcans and in Afghanistan, let alone the brits, have plenty experienfce, too.)

And the budget constraints are perhaps in place because, well, we´re not planning to invade any country anytime soon.

Of course, one has to keep in mind how much money goes to supplying the troops that are committed to Iraq and Afghanistan. That´s a lot. Additionally, american equipment is often overpriced for it´s performance. Other stuff was never tested against a real enemy, either, placing it´s possible performance as unknown. Stealth planes might be nice, but as they´ve never been used against state of the art detection systems, one doesn´t know how well they work.
