Our Thoughts and Our Prayers are with Tony Snow

The President’s spokesman’s cancer has returned:

Snow, 51, had his entire colon removed in 2005 and underwent six months of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with colon cancer. A small growth was discovered last year in his lower right pelvic area, and after months of monitoring, tests now show that it has grown slightly. It was removed Monday.

Doctors determined that it was cancerous, and found during the surgery, which was exploratory, that his cancer had metastasized, or spread, to his liver, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

Our thoughts, our hopes, and our prayers go out to this courageous, decent man and his family. May he recover quickly from this agonizing illness!

  2. I wish him a very speedy recovery. I’d say that America needs him, but right now, he just needs to focus on his health and his family, and in doing whatever he needs to do in order to get better. Be healthy, Tony. America does need you, but we’ll muddle by for as long as is needed.

  3. And Helen Thomas, showing her usual amount of decorum and decency, interrupted Snow’s announcement to start grilling him about Iraq!

  4. How can you say such a thing, formanczyk?

You and Helen Thomas deserve one another. Classlessness incarnate.
