About

B4BThis is a blog dedicated to the election of Senator Samuel Brownback (R-KS) to the Presidency of the United States in November of 2008. We are not affiliated with the Brownback campaign, and our views do not necessarily reflect the views of Senator Brownback. However, we do think that Brownback is the finest candidate available for the office, and that his victory will be the best way to help move America forward.

If you feel as we do about this matter, please do not hesitate to contribute or comment. If you disagree with our candidate, or on any other issues we happen to discuss, please try to keep your disagreement cordial and respectful. Comments may be edited if they contain foul language. Comments will not be deleted unless they are unduly offensive.

Welcome aboard, friends! God bless America, and may He ensure a Brownback Presidency!

  2. You mention in your about page that you invite comments, I quote “please try to keep your disagreement cordial and respectful”. How can you hope to be taken seriously on this matter when you disrespectfully and offensively refer to gay men as “sodomites” in your post of April 4th.

If anything this hypocrasy is truly, as you put, it “egregious”.

Keep it up, this is a prime example of double standards, with this kind of bigotry to highlight and link to, it’ll only show the rest of the world why Mr Brownback shouldn’t be elected to the Whitehouse.

    God Bless America indeed!

  3. We especially like people who can spell (eg, hypocrisy, White House) and those who are clever enough to respond in the proper comment thread (April 4th). You failed both criteria. Congratulations!

The About page is the wrong place to comment about a specific post dated April 4th. This comment will self destruct in 3…2…1….

If you don’t like it, why not comment in the relevant thread? Your comments won’t be deleted there, moonbat.

  5. A typical response, you can’t bring yourself to answer the charges of hypocrisy. Instead you home in on inconsequentialities and revert to childish name calling. How very mature up.

As for not responding in the right thread, is there a thread for discussing your bigotry?

  9. Man, man, man. Isn’t it nice to have some funny guys. My actual worry is, that this is just a fake from some Democrats… but that wouldn’t make sense, since that guy this blog is supposed to support won’t ever have any chance to become president, as long as the world is round (and moving).

  11. I want to thank you for this web site.
My personal opinion is that a Brownback presidency is a scary possibility. I don’t mean that we can’t discuss things on a rational friendly basis–Brownback and his staff are extremely personable. (We took a tour of the Capitol building with his aides as tour guide–as he is one of my Senators. Very nice well organized people.) I think he still has a “national debt” clock in his Senate office–something he seems to have forsaken in the days of the enormous Bush deficit spending and corresponding (Republican passed) tax cuts.
I like this site because I think it gives a better picture of who is a Brownback supporter than one would get from just meeting or seeing him personally (as a speech), or his staff. I particularly like this entry in this blog:
Heliocentrism is an Atheist Doctrine (I don’t know if this will appear as a link, a comment found under “faith” section on heliocentrism.) I also “like” (as in want people to know about) the anti-UN advertisement kept on this blog.

  18. Funny – you listed Jeff Gannon’s blog on your blog roll. Perhpas your blog’s former name was blogs4bareback, given your affinity for Mr. Gannon.

  19. Wow, “bareback.” How original. Never heard that one before. I bet you’re not even a G.I.

Next time try “brokeback,” since we’ve never seen that one either.

    What a moron.

    Comment by Psycheout — July 3, 2007 @ 4:04 pm | Reply

  20. Yeah, Psycheout, I am a real soldier. 11 years in the Army and have now spent my 9th and 11th anniversaries of my commissioning as an officer in Iraq. What have you done for your country lately?
Still sort of blown away by the Jeff Gannon deal on your blogroll. Amazing.
Never saw “Brokeback,” here, either. But given the weird sort of homophobic bent to Brownback’s and this collection of blogs’ stances on issues dealing with equal rights for all Americans, my guess is that you guys are either all latently gay – all this preoccupation with gay folks – or you’re only into former male prostitutes posing as a former Marines who have now turned Christianist mouthpieces for Rove and company. Yep – you should all be very proud. And I’m the “moron.” Got it.

  23. Just a quick question: What are you guys going to do in your free time once Brownback withdrawals from the race? After all, it’s only a matter of time! In fact, if I didn’t know any better he is more interested in the candidacy of Mitt Romney than his own.

    Comment by Akbar — July 24, 2007 @ 2:13 pm | Reply

  24. Don’t worry Akbar. I am committed to covering the entire 2008 race no matter what happens. So you don’t need to get concerned about the unthinkable, ie, Sam Brownback “withdrawls.”

You also don’t have to worry about B4B withdrawls. We will continue our celebrated tradition of objective reporting and unique commentary on the state of the world and the race for 2008.

I know our steady readership would expect nothing less. And thank you for your concern. Several readers have emailed with similar concerns. Worry not. B4B is here for the long haul.

  26. If the views posted on this website are in support of Mr. Brownbeck, then he surely must be deleted from any list of consideration. You do nothing to enhance his position or status. The internal views listed here are truly “anti-American” to the lowest denominator: the American citizen, whether they are users or not.

You are the people our parents warned us against! You need to re-read the “Federalist Papers” again and get some insight to what happens when a government takes over the free will of the People.

Both you and your candidate have become “sad” examples of America. Oh, and I’m not some kid says stuff. I’m a decorated VN veteran (Grunt RTO). Rethoric is your basis. Many simply deal in cold, hard facts. You should give it try sometime.

  38. Wow if Senator Brownback does as bad research as his supporters then he has no hope of being the President. There are more serious and important issues(Like keeping our troops in Iraq or immigration)in the world and you choose to waste your time and ours by bashing some people that like anime. I guess you don’t think that there are any conservatives that are otaku? Sorry to burst that bubble but I’m conservative and watch anime(I have also seen the show you commented on). I’m also a member of the NRA and I haven’t shot anyone or used an axe to kill people. Way to make the person you want to be President look bad. Sorry but I can’t resist “Rudy McRomney” now after seeing this sad excuse of support for our Party.

You have to have emphaty and put yourself in those mother’s shose who losing their sons because of those so called rebels. Then you are suprised why people have growing hatret against to USA? Terrorism is terrorism, no matter who or where it comes from. You amazed me by saying “what did Turkey did for us?” Then you easily forgot about the Gulf war. That is why Turkey didn’t vote to let you use their soil to go to Iraq. If you are talking about democracy, Turkey voted in the parlament and parlamento said NO!!! Is democracy is democracy ONLY when agress with you? My vote is not for you for sure.. USA doesn’t need more enemies. Turkey is ally to USA so many years and Nato member, USA have 4 air bases in Turkey, you are just an ungrateful politician.

on 4chan, one can do this just by clicking the post number. a link to that post is added into the comment textbox. food for thought?

  59. Mark,

This website is a brilliant parody! That is quite clear, the question is whether or not it is an accident. Allow me to create an analogy: what if one day, whilst preparing for ‘The Colbert Report’ Stephen Colbert slammed his head against a rusty revolving door and became the character he was lambasting: an ignorant blowhard. The program would probably become more entertaining! Picture Colbert calling security on his audience and forcing them to accept the Lord and Savior Jebus.

This page is either a beautiful satire or a frightening representation of all that is wrong with religion. RIP George Carlin

Praise be to Jesus.

Obama will lose in 2012 to a Mormon RINO, come back in 2016, then in 2020, Brownback will beat the pants off this guy when he runs for a third term.
