Since we at Blogs 4 Brownback do not recognize a holiday which is primarily used as an excuse to get “blotto” on alcohol and drugs, we officially christen this day as “Sam Brownback Day.”
Consider this an open thread. Report any Brownback buzz in the comments. I’ll get back to work soon and have more posts up to commemorate this, the very first “Sam Brownback Day.”
Update: I think an important part of Sam Brownback Day is outreach. Why would you not recognize St. Patrick’s Day? Are you trying to affront the Irish? Seeing as Brownback needs more support and draws mostly Catholic support now, this is not a good idea.

Not at all. I was poking fun at the way many (or most) use St. Patrick’s day as an excuse to get smashed. They are not celebrating St. Patrick, rather they are celebrating getting “blotto.”
So I co-opted that particular part of March 17th as “Sam Brownback Day.”
No offense intended to anyone, except maybe the secular booze guzzlers. They’re probably too hung over to care anyway.
