Support Ranty Rhodes

Randi RhodesI know this is a controversial stance to take and Randi Rhodes is a tiny fish in the vast sea of talk radio. But she is a rather large trout in the cesspool that is lieberal talk. Yet B4B readers are well aware that B4B never shies away from controversy when the truth itself is controversial.

The story: Ranty has been suspended indefinitely for daring to criticize her highness Hillary Clinton and has-been never-was Geraldine Ferraro. Don’t we have free speech in this country anymore? Not if you dare go against the Clinton dynasty. Here’s some of what this vulgarian and radio talker said that got her into trouble once again:

During what was an apparent stand-up routine, Rhodes attacked Ferraro, the former vice presidential candidate, for saying that Clinton rival Barack Obama has benefited in the Democratic presidential race because he is black.”Geraldine Ferraro turned out to be the David Duke in drag. Who knew?” Rhodes said to laughter. “What a whore Geraldine Ferraro is, she’s such a f*****g whore.”

A few minutes later, Rhodes said”Hillary is a big f*****g whore too.” She then suggested Clinton was trying to force her way into the Democratic nomination by manipulating pledged delegates. “Oh, f**k you, okay, f**k you,” she said.

All right. I know what you’re thinking. This is not appropriate language to use in public. And I’m with you. I agree totally. No doubt about it. The f-word does turn my stomach. Yet this is precisely how leftists talk. Profanity laced gibberish is their stock and trade. They’re used to filth, they revel in it, they celebrate it, they roll around in it, they literally reek of it. That’s why we have to constantly edit the comments submitted by rabid libbies who gleefully and without courteous self-restraint vomit their filth in our comment threads on a daily basis.

But, really, let’s be honest here. What’s wrong with Ranty’s substance, what little there is? Hitlery is a a whore. And so is that old hag Ferarri. Rhodes should be rewarded for “speaking truth to power” here. I thought that was a lefty mantra, along with “no blood for oil.”

Ferraro said Rhodes should be fired.

Two words: shut up, you old bag. Geraldine should pack it in and reread her entry in “Who’s Nobody.” She’s as relevant today as ever: not at all.

And there is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with calling Democrats “whores.” They are. Every single one. And it’s a G-d given right to point out the obvious truth, even if some people are uncomfortable with it. We do this every day (except Sunday) here at B4B. Well, we try.

But if you support free speech and believe in the Constitution as written (not as interpreted by liberal activist judges) you should support Randi Rhodes, even if she is a shrill, unhinged and utterly repulsive human being.

  1. Is this the Religious Right equivalent of the Don Imus incident?

  2. I believe you’ll find that Air America suspended the foul mouthed host rather quickly. What does the “religious right” have to do with it? And Ranty is a leftist. So I’m not sure what your point is, EB. Maybe you could try to be more clear.

  3. So it all right to call someone YOU dont like a whore on public radio but if she said that to Mike Huckabee then she would be against god right?

  5. With the money that the Clintons make, I doubt that prostitution could hardly be nearly as profitable.

Depends on who you work for.

“What does the “religious right” have to do with it?”
You’re reporting on someone getting suspended from the radio for saying something offensive. You’re part of the Religious Right (or wrong, as it were). Maybe it’s not so great a comparison after all.

  8. I have called upon the MWIP Prayer Warriors to add Ms. Rhodes to our computer generated prayer list. Good Lord willing in a week or so, she will be struck permanently mute.

I think Psycheout wants her to have a voice, reread the article.

  10. Randi could always learn sign language. Now that would be interesting radio!

I usually listen to lib talk radio with the speakers unplugged and the sound muted anyway. Freedom of speech is only for those with the ability to vocalize it anyway.

  11. I take it that by some miracle, you are deaf anyways? ’cause you’ve never been a supporter of free speech, unless it were conservative WASPy.

  12. “Freedom of speech is free for everyone.”
Fix’d your typos, you can thank me later.

Funny thing is that Hillary and Obama are still more Conservative than McAmnesty McLame.

  14. Actually, if she was doing a comedy routine then she should be free to say whatever she wants, with the exception that the “F” word should never be allowed on the radio, in movies with the proper ratings, sure, but not on the open airwaves. All politicians are open targets for comedy, whether true or not, although it’s much funnier when it’s true (John Stewart for insatance). Randi was more vulgar than funny, but as I said, to be really funny, it should also be true.

  15. Now you know what the Fairness Doctrine did to free speech in America. That law from FDR was overruled by Reagan.

Bill is a whore monger and Hillary is his pimp.

  17. Ah, so to be the commenter of the day, you just have to be as massive a bigot as possible.😀
