Faithmouse Friday (Saturday Edition)

After a brief hiatus, Faithmouse Friday (Saturday Edition) returns, to the relief of B4B readers across the country and around the world.

In today’s edition, Dan Lacey goes meta, poking fun at himself, his fans, his critics, spousal relationships and Internet culture in one fell swoop.

My Husband the Freak

Dan’s nickname must be “The Dragon” because he must have fists of fury to hit all those targets at once in a game of death without a Chinese connection.

Dan probably wonders, “they call me Bruce?”

Have a good weekend, B4B’ers! And be sure to fill your church’s offering plate on Sunday morning. The homosexual agenda isn’t going to just defeat itself you know.

Actually, I think it’s only us (the “trolls”), the blog posters, and a couple of non-bloggers who agree with you.

  7. That IS Dan Lacey

Ye gods. So he just drew a pic of himself, instead of trying to be comical? Also, looks like he drew nipples on his wife. Or his art sucks more than I thought.

  8. His wife is pretty unattractive

LULZ, BlowJay Tabor once again proves that his grammatical skills never got far beyond “See Spot Play”.

If that’s the best the Religious ‘Right’ can come up with, I have little to worry about.

Oh come on, lighten up EB. Clearly Dan Lacey is up there with the cartoon greats of the Right like Mallard Filmore and BC in wit and artistic skill.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Mallard Fillmore, sparingly funny as it is, scores more humor in a week than Faithmouse has since…whenever the hell it was shat out in a storm of fur. BC? BC is almost the antithesis of humor, which I swear is half the joke.

Faithmouse is just some furry’s right-wing wet dream.

  14. Dear EB and Dio Brando, I know that I could entrust either of your boys to explain to me exactly what a “furry” is. I have studied that picture and for the life of me, have no idea what in the world is so funny about it. You two have been so generous in bringing me up to speed as to what is “cool” and “hip” in your generation in the past. I would much appreciate your assistance again.

Bless you, dears and know that you and those little lady friends of yours remain in my thoughts and prayers. The offer to host an ice-cream social for you all at Auntie Crockett’s house remains open.

  15. A furry is someone who loves to dress up in animals suits for sex. and/or have sex with animals. Not the same as someone who loves animals.

And if you don’t have chocolate malt crunch, you may be a heathen.

  16. “A furry is someone who loves to dress up in animals suits for sex. and/or have sex with animals.”
They don’t like having sex with animals, they have a fetish for animals in humanoid form. Important difference.

“The offer to host an ice-cream social for you all at Auntie Crockett’s house remains open.”
    Thanks, but no thanks.

“Clearly Dan Lacey is up there with the cartoon greats of the Right like Mallard Filmore and BC in wit and artistic skill.”
What Dio said. Mallard is infinitely funnier than faithmouse, and BC takes place in a time before humor was invented.

That’d be like saying rapists are a fringe sect of S&M practitioners.

Well curse it, now that you mentioned that, my mind is auto-comparing to R. Crumb.

  23. I just noticed, does he have an electrical cord protruding from his rear? A plug from his butt, as it were? Is this as a suggestion of poor costume construction, or is the character that he is dressing up as in possession of such an appendage?
Forgive my ignorance of most webcomics in general.

Comment by Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu — March 19, 2008 @ 12:25 am | Reply

  24. Appears to be so. I think it’s a buttplug. He gets turned on when you plug it in?

  25. I don’t recall Faithmouse ever having a tail (not like i ever paid attention in the first place). Maybe he’s referencing the fact that only these B4B internet yahoos give him any attention.

  26. Wait a minute: I thought Faithmouse was female. Is the cartoonist portraying himself as a cross-dresser AND a furry?
