It is the eve of the Iowa caucuses, where Iowa makes its choice for the nominations for President. Now it’s your turn to show your political knowledge and wisdom. Who will win? Since the Democrat nominee is of no interest to me, I’ll skip making predictions for the party of treason. But I will make my predictions for the top three in G-d’s Own Party.
- Mike Huckabee
- Mitt Romney
- John McCain
Romney has vastly outspent all the other candidates (as much as 30-1) so he might just edge out Huckabee. We shall see. I’m pretty sure that McCain takes third however.
Anyone else care to make their own predictions? Those who guess correctly for both the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary have a chance to win an iPhone or iPod Touch. Good luck!

Pretty safe choices if I may say so…
Huckabee obviously is the strong horse coming down the wire. He is the ONLY conservative without obvious family or background issues. I expect a lot more mud to be thrown his way as the campaign continues.
Mittons still have Mormon-gate, Liberal background-gate, Employing Immigrants-gate, Oversaw the most expensive and wasteful building project in US history-gate. Still a strong number two.
McCai…who are we kidding? No chance to poll about 4%. His immigration bill was terrible, his backing from Lieberman, his flip flopping record…he isn’t coming in third. No, you know who is? THE HONORABLE SENATOR BROWNBACK!!! After a surprisingly successful write in campaign lands him a shocking and strong third place, the Honorable Senator Brownback sweeps Wyoming leading to rabid calls of a motivated populace for him to righteously re-enter the race. New Hampshire will end up being the one sore bump in the road leading to the future trade as President with Canada, giving them New Hampshire and the Socialist City States of California for the White, non French speaking parts of Canada, rightfully uniting Alaska with the lower states. Southern States will continue to fall to the Honorable Senator Brownback until Super Tuesday in which it becomes all but obvious to everyone and the remaining Republican candidate, sans Ron Paul who will most likely be to high to notice, voluntarily bow out. With that, its on to the general election with a Reagan style stomping over “Fill in the G-dless liberal of the week”. The next eight years will be the greatest in America!!!

I find it funny that you would applaud promotion of an iPhone, which enables internet browsing, while you bash the Nintendo DS for no real reason.
Also, Clinton will end up winning because everybody doesn’t care about people they never heard of, so they would rather have the US be run as some kind of Dynasty rather than preserve their freedom. It makes me sick to my stomache.

Ok, it’s a bit late to make guesses on Iowa, Obama has it there, but Hillary will have it in NH, as for the Republicans, I could give a rat’s a**, they aren’t going to put anyone in the whitehouse anyway. 8 years of the worst administration in US history is more than enough to keep people from voting Republican, even the republican citizens will refrain from voting with their party this time. The Bush/Cheney insanity machine has ruined the Republican party beyond repair so their race this year is just a show of going through the motions, they know they can’t win and they know who is to blame.
By the way psychenut, God never chose a party. And why are you so afraid to spell his name correctly? It’s God, not G-d.
Then again, perhaps you are right in doing it that way, one who disregards his word as much as you and your cohorts here do should not use his name in your own defense. So for you, G-d it is.

PG, Ron Paul won’t even come close to third. I guarantee it. To much of a nutjob.
My prediction: he might edge out Alan Keyes, Jon Cox, lazy Fred Thompson, and if he’s lucky Duncan Hunter. But he won’t place third. Even with his blimp and moonbat money.

FadedRose- I wouldn’t go out and say the Democrats have a lock in the General Election. A lot of anger at Bush could be successfully deflected to democratic candidates. Just give me a second to explain alright before the lefties call for my head… Historically presidential candidates with records of service in Congress puts them in a disadvantage compared to candidates who are former governors. The Democrats strong candidates not only are current members of congress, but also have been members of a majority that hasn’t done a darn thing for their party base, such as get out of Iraq, destroy America with universal healthcare, outlaw Christianity, you know…the basic party platform. Instead, they have basically played a wait and see game and done nothing with their majority. That could lead to serious splintering in the primary and general election. The identity of the Republican party isn’t tied into President Bush II anymore. It doesn’t matter how bad he acts or performs at this point because its the Democratic controlled Congress allowing him to do so. I’m not saying the Republicans aren’t facing an uphill battle, especially without the Honorable Senator Brownback leading the way, but lets be honest, if any party can screw up a sure thing campaign, its the democrats…

somewhat sensible points there Diablo, the Democrats have sat on their hands and done very little to help, but then again it’s the Republicans that got us into this mess and the American people don’t forget as easily as they would like to think. But my biggest complaint is with the American people themselves for letting them get away with it. Our government is supposed to represent us not repress us.

We democrats don’t wish to outlaw it. Most of us are Christians, but I suspect that Psycheout thinks that one must subscribe to extreme right-wing Christian fundamentalism (The earth is 6000 years old) to be a “real” Christian.
But that’s just me.
