Splodeydopes at It Again; Ron Paultard Update

Bhutto AssassinationThe big news this morning is obviously the assassination of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto. It’s incidents like this that happen in that primitive and violent part of the world that make us thankful for having a great President like George W. Bush, who has successfully defended America from terrorist attacks. There has been no attack on our homeland since 9/11 due to the President’s incredible leadership.

Naturally President Bush was quick to respond, taking time out of his vacation in Crawford, Texas to condemn this cowardly act of terrorism:

The United States strongly condemns this cowardly act by murderous extremists who are trying to undermine Pakistan’s democracy. Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice. Mrs. Bhutto served her nation twice as Prime Minister and she knew that her return to Pakistan earlier this year put her life at risk. Yet she refused to allow assassins to dictate the course of her country.

We stand with the people of Pakistan in their struggle against the forces of terror and extremism. We urge them to honor Benazir Bhutto’s memory by continuing with the democratic process for which she so bravely gave her life.

Benazir BhuttoFor the details on this cowardly homicide bombing that resulted in over a dozen deaths, including Bhutto’s, be sure to check out Hot Air’s coverage. Bryan is doing a heck of a job. Michelle Malkin is too. Isn’t the new media fantastic?

Is this the work of al Qaeda or violent and repulsive wannabes? It’s too early to tell. But this incident proves again the folly of appeasing or surrendering to the terrorists who want to kill us. They must be hunted down and shot like the wild and rabid dogs that they are. There is no other answer. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. It’s time to make the Islamic extremists blind and toothless.

Sadly, there is already a discussion of how this affects the U.S. Presidential campaign. Does this help Giuliani and Clinton? Yuck. Blogs 4 Conservatives explores that angle and determines that it’s too disgusting to contemplate.

Bill Clinton and Monica LewinskyUpdate: al Qaeda behind the attack? U.S. intelligence is looking into responsibility claims at this very moment. What should the U.S. response be? Former President Clinton had plenty of chances to get bin Laden and was even offered Osama on a silver platter by Sudan but he wasn’t interested, since he wasn’t a chubby girl in a thong. The Clinton legacy of perversion and failure haunts us to this day.

Update 2: Ron Paul naturally blames America first. He claims that Al Qaeda is justified in being “annoyed” at us. Nice one, Ron. Wrap a towel around your head and just go away.  Moar reaction from Bryan at Hot Air.

  1. Actually, the B4C article is one of the few I can agree with. Talking about how that will influence the bloody elections is simply tasteless.

Otherwise, rest in peace, Benazir Bhutto.

Now get the ***holes that have murdered her.

  2. Yeah PG, I don’t see how anyone could see it any other way. I’m not a big fan of media vultures. They’re carrion eaters.

It is close to the Iowa caucus, so some weak-minded voters might be swayed by this, but Giuliani and McCain, the two most mentioned as GOP beneficiaries by the chattering pundit class, haven’t got a prayer in Iowa anyway.

Any impact this might have on American politics would be extremely short lived. So bringing it up at all seems to me to be in poor taste.

Thoughts should be with Bhutto and her family, and the people of Pakistan.

  4. This assassination shows how utterly bankrupt the policy of appeasement from the Left has failed with the Islamo-Fascist. I dare any Liberal Cultural Relativist to defends this cowardly act. Face it you Moonbats, this was pure evil, case closed. How many good Christian leaders like Bhutto will have to die before people wake up?

  8. Last I checked, Clinton handed Bush the “must get al Qaeda / bin Laden” list when he handed him his presidency. He had EIGHT MONTHS to send forces to get bin Laden. EIGHT MONTHS before the US was attacked.

Whoever believes that Democrats are going to defend this seriously needs to reopen the asylums and retard hospitals that your last dear president Reagan had closed. Then you neo-cons need to go back there and get serious treatment.

What happened was horrible. But once again it highlights what happens when you’re egged on by a puppet leader (Bush being the puppet and Cheney being the puppeteer) who couldn’t even function right when us American citizens had been attacked. What self-respecting leader of a country leaves his brain motor running for around 5 minutes before getting up and turning into a war monkey?

  9. “The probe by Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa, the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, has brought new scrutiny to the underlying belief that brings in millions of dollars and fills churches from Atlanta to Los Angeles — the “Gospel of Prosperity,” or the notion that God wants to bless the faithful with earthly riches.”

we need to really “probe” this atheist Grassley and stop him from ruining Christianity!

Is it too late to point out that Mrs. Bhutto was a (moderate) muslim?

To be fair to Bill, Osama wasn´t that high on the priority list back then. He was deemed too unimportant by basically all western intelligence agencies. And George didn´t do anything about all Queida, either, before they started crashing planes in buildings.

  12. yes, ron paul has proved too correct and exposed neocons by contrast into errant zionist shills who will use any ruse to sell treason as patriotism.

We neocons can only prevail by demanding ‘do-overs’ every time we are proven wrong and then shouting ‘victory’, ‘we told you so!’ when after the 59th ‘do-over’ and 1.5 trillion wasted sending more troops actually supresses temporarily some violence, like Gen. Shinsecki and Zinni warned Bush about before he fired them for it….yeah petraeus!

We mush hold our hands over our eyes and ears and run our mouths full speed like jabbering chimps so that we remain unexposed to the truth and reject facts that do not comport with political correctness or are at odds with reality in a way that we do not like because it means we were wrong…damn RP- he with his pesky truth, its harder to sell-out when i am forced to face that i sold out, me and psychout wont stand for this!

oh, and its too bad she was murdered, but benazir has a history of corruption and self enrichment a mile long as did her dictator father, only us clueless uninformed neocons could make her into a champion of democracy .

  14. even drunk, i understand the law of unintended consequences, which zionist-centric neocon conservative pretenders pretend not to grasp, and ”gay sodomy is my civil right” liberals dont have the faculties to comprehend.

The R Paul message far predates RP: the crazier, more distant and more disfunctional a foreign nation is, the less we want any of their population HERE, and the less we should involve ourselves with them. Other nations who border or entertain disputes with third world, no technology, mullah loving maniacs need to do it on their own, or they are as much of a problem to the US as the whack jobs they are trying to get us to ‘take out’ for them.

throw a pebble into a pond and hundreds of ripples move out 360 degrees from the pebble = mess around trying to affect a third world hellhole to fit our liking, and you also get hundreds of other changes as a result, none likely desireable, many possibly worse than the issue you sought to ‘fix’, and none within your control.

fight neocons/facists and liberals/communists = the real patriotism

I knew you were drunk! Forgive me if I don’t take seriously the ramblings of a noisy alcoholic who claims to support Alan Keyes while commenting like a deranged blame-America-first Paultard. Alan Keyes and Ron Paul are about as far apart as can be.

You are obviously a confused soul who needs to sober up and find the Lord. I will say a prayer for you, wacko.

Ron Paul would let to Isamo-Fascists take our’ oil. That’s what’s wrong with him.

Those 92% have been misled by the Islamic Press about that dictator. They just need to be helped to come to the right conclusion about the situation.

Now, Corker, “All oil is America’s oil. Anyone who says otherwise is a Euroislamoveganhomocommie.” ,

Uh, what do I say here? Oh yeah, you’re a complete idiot. Our oil is off the coast in the gulf of Mexico, Alaska, and a few other places (Texas) around the country. Any other oil we need to buy, otherwise we are stealing it from the rightful owners. We can’t claim ownership of oil in other countries, it’s in their countries, it’s their oil, plain and simple. But then you’re just stupid, so please babble on, it’s what you do.
