Blogs 4 Huckabee

I Like MikeDon’t ever say that we don’t give you folks anything. Here’s an early Christmas present for you: a new site dedicated to tracking and celebrating the Huckaboom currently underway.

After spending nearly a year with the incredibly talented bloggers Sisyphus, Psycheout, Larissa B., Randall Smithson and the rest of the B4B Team, I’ve decided the time was right to strike out on my own. Special thanks go to Sisyphus and Psycheout for the technical help in getting things set up. The new blog looks awesome!

Mike Huckabee is going places. He’s always been my second pick after the honorable Senator Sam Brownback, one of the nicest and smartest people on the planet. I’ve met him, and we had a great laugh when I told him my name. Ha ha ha!

Although I do understand the fine Senator’s reasoning for endorsing his good friend and colleague, Senator John McCain, the Senator from Arizona has to be my third choice behind Huck. As a Baptist preacher and a serious-minded man with a theology degree (enabling him to understand the menace of Islam and how to win the War on Terror), my man Mike puts God in the proper perspective: He comes first. And that’s the way it ought to be.

Mike Huckabee for PresidentI will continue to help out as always here at B4B. This has been a second home to me, and it has always been an honor and a privilege to take part here at one of the greatest blogs on the planet. Yet with Giuliani all but out of the race (thank the Lord) and Romney beginning to buckle, it’s time to get behind the man who is best qualified to be our President out of those who are running. That man, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is Mike Huckabee.

I like Mike. And you will too, if you don’t already.

I hope to see you over at Blogs 4 Huckabee. A new team is being assembled for a new covenant. I know Psycheout is already doing some fantastic ground-breaking blogging of his own over at Blogs 4 Conservatives, and Sisyphus is continuing to knock ’em dead here with his incredible, inciteful commentary and his special expertise in all things science-y.

Please?I hope they and you will also feel at home over at B4H. I hope their talents and your surfdom as blog readers will find a home away from home there as well.

Please consider making Blogs 4 Huckabee a daily ritual, along with the original B4, Blogs 4 Brownback. And for objective reportage, you simply can’t beat Blogs 4 Conservatives, can you?

Why take a chance? Bookmark them all!

Without a doubt, this is the golden age of blogging. I hope you, our loyal readers, will stick with us through this renaissance within cyberspace.

  7. Brother Ed Note (if that is your real name): Help! I cannot find a new edition of the Christian Conservative dictionary!! All I have is this crappy old Webster’s. I realize now that if I don’t get OUR dictionary, and fast, I will all-too-soon be left out of the loop when it comes to our quickly changing language.

Case in point: in your entry above you wrote:

“And for objective reportage, you simply can’t beat Blogs 4 Conservatives, can you?”

In my old Webster’s, the word “objective” when used as an adjective means: “not influenced by personal feelings, interpretations, or prejudice; unbiased”

Yet when I checked Psyche-ut’s blogs4conservatives site he refers to that-democrat-woman as “Helldog” and both she and Romney as “horrid,” for example. Now though I may agree completely with his judgment, it seems to me that they are not what one would call “objective” but the exact opposite term “subjective.” This leads me to choose between two conclusions:

    A) Your head is so far up your ass that you don’t know what the word “objective” means; or B) Webster’s dictionary—a tome continuously published and relied upon since 1806— doesn’t understand the ever-evolving English language. (Oops, I meant to say: “the ever-intellectually-designed English language”).

Well, Brother Ed (if that is your real name) I cannot fathom the former being true thus I prefer the latter. So if you could let me know which Christian Conservative dictionary is the best to keep on my desk (next to my Bible) I would be greatly appreciative.

P.S. Since Brother Psyche-ut runs that website, is that where I can pick up my Bible-sanctioned slave? A squirrel is currently stuck up my chimney and I need someone whose arm could be sacrificed to roust it out. Thanks!

    God Hates Crabs!

[Ed Note: I’ve read “HillDog” over at B4C, but not “Helldog.” “Hilldog” is a colorful nickname that has been used by supporters and critics alike. It’s a neutral nickname. “Dog” or “dawg” is just urban slang for referring to another person, FYI. And speaking of dogs, I think you’re barking up the wrong tree with the slave thing. I doubt Psycheout swings that way, pervert. Also if one doesn’t realize that Clinton and Romney are “horrid,” they are far from objective or are out of touch with reality.]

  8. Terrific retort, Ed (if that is your real name)! Great eyes! You caught me on that one, just like you caught how Psyche-ut said that torture chamber belonged to “Al Qaeda” and not “Al Qaeda in Iraq.” Two separate groups, you know. Boy, I bet you really gave him a tongue-lashing on that one, eh?

And speaking of proof-reading, you wrote:

“Also if one doesn’t realize that Clinton and Romney are “horrid,” they are far from objective or are out of touch with reality”

Did you really say: “If ONE doesn’t…THEY are far…”? Did you really mean to mix a singular with a plural? Reserve a tongue-lashing for yourself as well (Golly, that’s a lot of this tongue-lashing you are doing! That forked tongue of yours must really come in handy!) But then, though we Christian Conservatives know that this really must be an English-only country, that doesn’t mean we have to do it well, right?

As for slavery being perverted, let me point out that God himself sanctioned that “peculiar institution” in the Bible. Are you calling God perverted? Surely not, because the Bible clearly states that it’s a blasphemy to do so and, of course, you will have to be put to death. Sorry, I’d hate to see that but, you know, God is, as he describes himself in un-edited versions of the Ten Commandments, “a jealous God.” Do you prefer a good old stoning death, or what? I’ll leave that up to you.

And, as always, God Hates Crabs!

  9. I tend not to trust people who rub their alleged “objectivity” in your face, then turn around and sling mud.

Especially when I, confused by their rhetoric, ask for clarification and am constantly ignored.
