Kiss of Death

The Lieberman KissLiberal turncoat, Joe Lieberman, will endorse John McCain. Decline it, John!

Sen. Joseph Lieberman (Conn.), who was on the national Democratic ticket in 2000, will cross the aisle to endorse Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) tomorrow, Republican sources said.

Liberals hate the guy because he is seen as a traitor to their party. Conservatives, while they pretend to like the guy, simply don’t. He’s repulsive.

The move, which will help cultivate McCain’s moderate status, is an effort to draw attention to the McCain campaign, which needs a splash. Otherwise, it does not make sense for McCain because it will only remind core Republicans why they distrust him.

Exactly. Bad move, McCain. I guess you’ve given up. It’s not like you really have a chance anyway. Nobody trusts a “maverick.”

Exit question: Is this a Clinton campaign dirty trick designed to sink McCain’s straight talk express?  Who’d want to be seen with Sore-loserman?

  1. This only confirms and solidifies the notion that almost all Democrats and Republicans alike are multi-national corporate controlled individuals. Hillary is more Conservative than most of the top tiered Republican presidential candidates. Of course the typical television viewing Conservative are more interested in the brand name over the exact same produnt in a different package.

  5. As a fellow ex-navy guy myself, I have a soft spot for McCain. Yet the guy wrote the book on how to alienate and piss away you base. At this point, he is just the butt of lame jokes. I guess thats what happens when you don’t have baby Jesus in your heart.

  6. I think that McCain has a secret desire to bte tortured. I know he says he didn’t like it but he sure appears to me as a man who WANTS a good spanking with ax axe handle.

I always thought I would be someone McCain could stand on, but lately I am leaning toward Hyckie Huckabee, and this is not going to change that.

Just because a disgusting, smelly, greedy …. DemonRat who wants to feel the sting of John’s lash endorses him, I don’t think it changes anything.

  7. I long to see the day McCain tries to use a jetpack, only to get fried by the afterburner. Oh wait, he already has, judging by his ugly RINO old face. Maybe we should just send in a furry to stab him to death.

  9. “Bob Corker is a Nazi….”

Cute, just because I have the same name as a senator that is supported by the Klan, I’m a Nazi. Now you have NO excuse to like Ron Paul. Way to go, Space-ho!

  10. Wow. I can’t decide whose reputation is hurt more by this arrangement, McCain’s, or Lieberman’s.

  13. Actually, I’m not the only one. Just google “Droopy Lieberman” , or from the link I left:

Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s news parody The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, has taken to imitating Connecticut senator and 2000 Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman with Droopy Dog’s voice and mannerisms.

    LOL somebody find the vid!
