An Important Announcement [UPDATED]

Important AnnouncementBlogs 4 Brownback is hereby suspending its activities in order to allow the entire B4B Team to spend more time with their families. Let me assure you, we did not take this decision lightly, but after much reflection and internal discussion, we agreed that this was the appropriate time. I’ll have to admit that this is a difficult post to write, but it must be done.

We value our readers very much and have enjoyed bringing you the important news every day and bringing to light issues that are of utmost importance to American families. There is nothing more important than the family, after all. That is especially true right now.

This decision has been coming for quite awhile. We regret to do this at this time, but circumstances leave us precious little choice. But we’re proud of the work we have done here for the last nine months. It hasn’t always been easy, and we have taken a lot of hits for expressing the truth, unvarnished and unencumbered with PC nonsense. It’s been a great ride and it has been personally rewarding for me.

I hope you, our readers, have gotten as much, if not more out of this than we have. And if you have enjoyed B4B half as much as we have in bringing it to you, then we have enjoyed it twice as much as you. But with things as they are, no other choice is available to us at this time. This is really the only sensible thing to do.

Light from HeavenI want to especially thank BJ Tabor for having our back, day after day, as we suffered one merciless and thoughtless attack after another. BJ, and other supportive commenters like him, have kept us going. They have helped to keep us sane. Also, the flood of positive emails has outweighed the inevitable hate mail that naturally comes from the unhinged haters of America and everything decent. The support and love in those emails has been phenomenal. The proper words of thanks are hard to find, perhaps impossible. So thank you, thank you very much.

As always, liberals have tried their best to destroy us, to mock us, to bring us to our knees, to smear us and to discredit our ideas. They can’t help it, I know. It’s who they are. The poor deluded fools actually think they are somehow speaking truth to power. Yet conservatism will never die. And that just eats them up inside.

The important message of Senator Brownback, the next Governor of Kansas, his compassion and his humanity, will never be forgotten by those it has touched. That in itself is enough to inspire hope in this dangerous time of unrepentant moonbattery and unapologetic secular humanism. That alone makes the hard work, the blood, sweat and tears, all worthwhile.

Thank you for your support, everyone. Without you, Blogs 4 Brownback would not have been such a tremendous success.

Update: There seems to have been some confusion about this announcement, although I’m not sure why. The B4B Team is indeed spending more time with their families over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had given it quite some thought and decided that this would be the right thing to do. I guess some people took it the wrong way. Sorry about that, but I thought I made it pretty clear. Well, I’ve got to run. I’m still spending time with my family.

Such posts as these warm my heart! I think I’m going to cuddle with my family in front of a fireplace all day Thanksgiving and read stories about the Pilgrims and of course, Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving, from the evil Liberal masses!

  14. Friends, It’s a crying shame that you are shutting this site down. I’ve read it almost every day since you started – you’ve lightened my days with your God-given wisdom.

Some day I think people will be reading this site, mourning the loss of the best President we never had: Senator Sam Brownback.

  24. Spacebrother: If you come back on here long enough to read this, click the link on my name (it’s actually to Jim’s page) and drop him a line, also drop me one too, just find my name with a link on it on another page. Now that this is closing down we would both like to hear from you again in the future, it’s been a fun ride on here but it’s over now and now I have my own blog page to take care of that I have been neglecting just to argue with these folks.

Bob, ED, MOD, Phsyche, Sisy, etc: you all tried hard, good job, but in the end, you didn’t get a single person to switch to your way of thinking. Perhaps this would be a good time to admit that you never really believed any of it anyway.

But finding another site as funny as this one was will not be easy, you folks were great at finding non-issues and making issues out of them. I’m smoking a fat joint for all of you right now.

Have a wonderful life! And that means all of you, from both sides of the arguements.

    Peace,,,,, Arn.

  57. I have managed to clear out my eyes enough to read the update. MY LIFE IS SAVED! for the second time of course as I have already been saved by Jesus.

His bleeding heart washed away my sins and the tearing of his flesh opened up my heart to his. I shall forever micro-manage the activities of my friends and neighbors because of his loving sacrifice.

This is the same sacrifice that the good people of B4B have sworn to uphold and carry for the good of ALL MANKIND….even those evil people that we have to kill.

I am sure they will be better off burning in hell than polluting our air with their stench.

    So VOTE FOR YOUR JOHNNIE!

My personal fav is still Good! by Sisyphus, where I literally cried with laughter. This line:

We who are going to church tomorrow salute you, gorilla-slayers! They who are about to fornicate and consume alcohol and drugs tomorrow will not share our sentiments. They’re forlorn over the loss of their opportunity to sate their bestial carnalities, and will likely drown their sorrows in grog. I, for one, find little pity for them. Now they’re going to have to marry human women and breed non-Darwinist children, the way God intended.

Stuff of legend, I tell ya….

Hope to see you guys back soon!
