Barry Bonds: Jailbird

Barry 'Juice' BondsAnother drug addict bites the dust. All drug users should be locked up, so this is good news. Professional sports are really boring and a total waste of time in my opinion. Watching rich athletes spit and grab their crotches or seeing Janet Jackson expose herself on live TV takes away valuable time that could be better spent studying scripture.

Former Giants slugger Barry Bonds was indicted today for perjury and obstruction of justice, all connected to allegedly false statements baseball’s all-time home run leader made to a federal grand jury investigating the Balco steroids scandal.

So bye bye, Barry. Hope you enjoy your 30 years in the pokey. He set some kind of meaningless record, that should be completely ignored and erased since he was hopped up on goofballs. He shot sin into his veins and now he must pay the penalty. If nothing else he has shown children the wrong way to get ahead. Dope is for dopes. It’s time that American drug users realized that America has zero tolerance for casual drug use.

Do the crime serve the time. A bondsman won’t do you any good now Barry. Buh bye. LOL.

Update: Maybe I misheard Fox News in the other room. I heard he faces 30 years hard time, but I can only find 5 years for perjury plus 10 years for obstruction of justice. The other 15 (at a minimum) should be tacked on for the use of illegal drugs. In reality drug users should be locked up for life. They are irredeemable. It’s the only way to be sure.

  2. All right everyone, bible time.

Someone on this websight, I must ask a question. Are you sinless? Because according to the bible, Romans 3:23 to be exact says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (king james) So anyone and everyone on this sight has committed a sin, agreed? The bible also states in Mat 6:14-15 (NIV) “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But, if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

You also said drug users were “irredeemable” ir·re·deem·a·ble – impossible to redeem or reform: ex-an irredeemable evil.

Are you saying that Barry Bonds, or all drug users aren’t worth saving?

Explain further as to what you mean by “irredeemable” or face the SINS of you hypocritical words in front of the father!

Now I know the connection I made was kind of vague, but rational thoughts seem to be something that don’t come around commonly around these here parts of the internet

  3. I also forgot this passage

James 2:10 states, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

So, every person has sinned (as shown above). Now if you condemn a drug user as “irredeemable” doesn’t that make you, an equal sinner, irredeemable?

Does anyone see where Im goin here?

  5. Are you saying that Barry Bonds, or all drug users aren’t worth saving?

I think I did. But G-d Himself will make the ultimate judgement. I am just offering my own humble opinion. If you read blogs, you will find that’s what bloggers do by and large. Go figure.

By the way, it’s “site,” a shortened form of the word “website.”

“Sight” is something you see or it can also mean your ability to see.

I hope I have been helpful. If English is not your first language, that is fine with me. I mean no offense whatsoever.

You might find this website very useful. A lot of English speakers make these common mistakes.

  6. Now if you people are Christians, and God says to forgive everyone for their sins, or else God wont forgive you, isn’t that a bit of a hypocritical statement.

And for my sight/site screw up, again. IM WRONG. But my spelling errors shouldn’t be the focus of the debate presented here! Stay on topic.

  8. I totally disagree, Hissho. Your spelling mistakes are far more important than a drugged out loser like Barry Bonds. Look at it this way: he cheated. He used steroids so that he could break another black man’s record, Hank Aaron, who did not cheat.

Other athletes, who do not succumb to the tempation to use performance enhancing drugs are at a disadvantage. How can they compete with someone hopped up on goofballs.

He is a loser, a sinner, a criminal, a fake, a bad example, a horrible role model and a junkie. Perhaps he can get down on his knees and accept Jesus into his heart and be saved. If he does, good for him. He will likely do it, if he does, from a jail cell.

You are more important than this cheat, this phony, this false idol. I am more interested in helping you with your spelling than even discussing this waste of space. A millionaire and a cheater. He’s not worth our time, frankly.

Where in the bible does it say to kill sinners? I believe what it says is ” let him who is without sin cast the first stone”. Would that be you? You are just like Bobcock, you would rather kill people than save them. No one is without sin, therefore no one is entitled to throw stones. You’re just a demented sadistic bastard with no moral center. If you would like to dispute that fact, come on back, I have idiots like you for breakfast every morning.

    Comment by Arn Lewis — November 16, 2007 @ 8:54 am | Reply

  38. What’s weird here is the fact that I actually agree with part of what this says. Barry Bonds does deserve to do time, but for what he is charged with, saying to tack on 15 years for doing drugs is just stupid, let him get caught first, don’t sentence someone to time for a crime he hasn’t even been charged with. As for the drugs, steroids are harmful to the person taking them and a posible danger to those around him due to the possible mental side effects of the drugs. But even that can be partially credited to the public that wants to see amazing feats from our atheletes that they are not capable of, so they turn to steroid use in order to build themselves up and impress the public. Perhaps if we stopped admiring the bodies of these steroid freaks they would stop using the steroids, after all they don’t get you high or anything like that, they just deform your body, no one would do them without the pressure from the public to be bigger, stronger and faster than they are.

However, your assessment that all drug users should be killed just goes right back to that same demented way of thought that Bobcock and McVain believe, kill those that are not like you. You folks just can’t get over the kill thing can you?
Christians, my ass. You’re just sadistic wanna be murderers, do any one of you have the guts to come here and tell me to my face (not online, I mean right here where I can see you) that you think I should be killed, you have all said it on here, who has the guts to come see me and say it to my face? But even Jesus himself sinned and therefore was not authorised to cast the first stone. You are not a sinless born again christian, to kill is a sin (isn’t that in the ten commandments?) and you are constantly calling for someone to be killed, and the reasons you state for killing them goes beyond reason, you just want to see people die. You even want to see me die and you know absolutely nothing about me, that is the ultimate in prejudice.

Are you calling Jesus a liar? Perhaps you should read the bible more closely, it does say that Jesus sinned and even named the sin, Jesus himself spoke it,,, time to break out the bible and do a little studying. I’ll still be here when you find it and realise I was right. If you can’t find it let me know, I can tell you where it is, but you should look for yourself first, a little bible reading would do you some good.

Arn, Arn, you’ve got to read all of the scripture, not that parts your’ pastor spoon feeds you on Sunday. Remember Jesus was baptized? That means Jesus repented of His depravity, accepted Himself as His own personal savior and forgave Himself of His sins. Since He was, and is, Jesus we can be sure His repentance was perfect.

The liberals? Although Barry Bonds has technically not committed a crime worthy of death, I could care less about him. He has subcumbed to greed and drugs. We all know someone else who’s on drugs😉 But good point, likely.

Arn, being a liberal is NOT to be punished by death. Liberalism is a mere mental disorder, not a personal offense against God. God listed in the Old Testament that the death penalty was to be carried out for murderers, kidnappers, most rapists, adultery, blasphemy, heresy, homosexual behavior, idolatry, prostitution, and evil sorcery. If the Bible does not instruct us to kill, we should not. It is wrong to kill liberals for being liberal. You, however, have blasphemed. You’re racist, too. However, it also goes to a bunch of irrelevant companies I could care less about. Should I have to finance the Washington Monument or the national parks with money I work my hiney off for? No. Everyone should have to pay taxes for roads, police, and military, but beyond that, government should stay out of business. Microsoft will only be the market leader until someone else comes up with something significantly better than Windows, but refuses to sell it, for instance. When government gets involved, they just become even more indestructable.

  72. “Another drug addict bites the dust. All drug users should be locked up, so this is good news. ”

By the general definition of “drugs” as psychoactive substances, alcohol and tobacco are drugs as well, so you’re basically saying that every Catholic who has partaken of the Blood of Christ deserves a life sentence. Or are you making the arbitrary distinction that wine and cigarettes are legal and the other drugs aren’t? Be consistent with your arguments, or don’t argue at all.
