America Supports Iran Strike

Filed under: Defending America,War on Terror — Psycheout @ 5:26 pm

Nuclear IranThe majority of Americans recognize the importance of The War on Terror and the danger posed by a nuclear Iran.  They support defending our interests and punishing Iran when it becomes necessary.  America is not ready to cut and run from our military obligations.  The anti-war left has failed utterly.

More than half of likely voters in the United States would support a U.S. military strike against Iran to prevent it from building a nuclear weapon, according to a poll released Monday.

They believe it’s going to happen soon and know that it must.  America is solidly behind that which must be done.  This is good news.  The liberal propaganda is failing.

The poll found 53 percent of Americans believe it is likely the United States will be involved in a military strike against Iran before the November 2008 presidential election.

The nationwide telephone survey, conducted by polling firm Zogby International, found 52 percent of U.S. adults interviewed would support such a strike.

It just goes to show that Americans are, by and large, a wise people.  They recognize President Bush’s wisdom and steady leadership and support tough decisions such as this.  Make no mistake about it: we shall prevail!

  2. But what will we do about the UN? I agree that Iran has no right to own nukes; in fact, no countries other than America, Israel, Australia, and the Philippines should have the right to own nukes. However, the UN may kill our ambassador and declare a unanimous counter strike on US! I think this is a job for the CIA: the next time we install a dictator there, we need to put remote detonation chips inside his body. Then, there is no reason for us to bother with much of the Middle East. With dictators under our complete control in every Middle East Oil state, good Americans can finally be relieved of taxes for life!

  3. Good article Psycheout. As a good Christian I am firmly against nuclear armed countries bullying non-nuclear armed countries. I say nuke Iran now if they don’t stop their nuclear program.

  7. BJ TABOR: “Nuke Iran now” now that’s the good Christian thing to do, kill millions of innocent people, that’s the terrorist way of thinking too, you don’t like a leader, so you kill the innocent citizens, and please don’t say you meant just to do it to their military, you know nukes don’t work that way.

  8. Normally, I am suspect of neoconservatives, since they are often in agreement with lie-berals on anything except free markets and foreign policy. However, the paleoconservatives seem reluctant to take action against the UN, and I am changing sides to supporting the War in Iraq. With stable, capitalist, democratic (NOT like the Democratic party, mind you), and possibly Christian countries in the Middle East and Africa (South America, aside from Venezuela, seems stable now thanks to the fine works of Augosto Pinochle), the UN will be scrambling for a reason to exist. Once we withdraw from the UN, I am confident our new allies will support us in the uprising against this One World Government.

  9. Since when does the “majority” support the War in Iraq? I support the war we were holding against Afghanistan, before we stupidly abandoned the hunt for Bin Laden to a rumor of bombs in a totally different country.

The majority supports getting rid of Bin Laden. However, the majority also is against the totally unrelated War in Iraq, which has actually increased the risk of terrorism.
