Wow!Blogs 4 Brownback has been nominated for the 2007 Weblog Awards in the Best Conservative Blog category.  Voting is still open, so be sure to vote for your favorite.  The competition is pretty formidable.  It will be a difficult choice indeed.  It’s just such a great honor to be nominated alongside so many incredible blogs.

  4. What do you doubt, sb? That we were nominated, that the voting is still open, that the competition is formidable, that it’s an honor to be nominated, that we appreciate our readers or that we love each and every visitor? Because we were, it is, it is, we do and we do.

I hope that helps clear up your doubts.

  6. You got my vote!

It appears, however, that there is a certain amount of spamming going on over there. There are nominations that are coming in clumps.

Yours, OTOH, was put up there by someone who was unable to make it linkable. I wonder if it will effect the outcome?

  8. Thanks, Chen! I noticed that too. If someone can vote for the same blog in several different places, that hardly seems right. Perhaps they will use the logged IPs to limit each person to one vote per blog. Otherwise it’s going to be a little lopsided.

I think most people who read conservative blogs are at least aware of us. If not, a quick search on Blogs 4 Brownback will find us pretty quick.

I’m just flattered that someone actually nominated us. I didn’t even know about it until after nominations were closed. It was a pleasant surprise to read about our nomination on another blog!

It just goes to show that hard work and dedication to conservative values does pay off. I knew that already, but getting a little recognition is still pretty darn neat.

  12. BTW- I happened to notice that Balloon Juice got a whole batch of nods over there. The same Balloon Juice that is in the ‘weirdos” column of your sidebar lol.

  13. One last thing on Balloon Juice; have you looked at his blogroll? He’s got B4C in the “blogs read” section, while B4B is in the “blogs mocked” section.

  14. Beyond anything that even hints at being a shadow of a doubt, this is easily the best conservative blog on the web. No question.

I will vote early and often, TD. That’s the best advice you’ve offered all day. Why does this not surprise me?

If WND had a blog, I’d be tempted. It’s entries like this that really get me going. See what I mean? It’s a tough choice!

    You should feel flattered!
