Time to Destroy Turkey

TurkeyLooks like Turkey has come to threaten Iraq’s freedom and security.

The United States cautioned Turkey on Tuesday against making an incursion into northern Iraq after Kurdish rebels launched attacks from there and urged both countries to work together to resolve the conflict.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan gave the go-ahead on Tuesday for all necessary measures to be taken against Kurdish rebels, including a possible incursion into northern Iraq, after they carried out a series of attacks.

But the U.S. State Department warned against such a move.

“If they have a problem, they need to work together to resolve it and I am not sure that unilateral incursions are the way to go, the way to resolve the issue,” said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.

Amen. Turkey must not act unilaterally against our ally the Iraqis. If they try to do so, we shouldn’t rule out military options, up to and including taking out the Turkish government.

Let’s not forget, these are the same scumbags who wouldn’t let us use their country as a staging ground when we began Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Why should we worry ourselves with what happens to them now? What favors has Turkey ever done for us? No, taking them out may work out best for us all in the long run. America will lose a burgeoning adversary, Turkey will become free and Christian, and Iraq’s security will substantially improve. Taking out Turkey, Iran, and Syria at the same time will simplify the Middle East tremendously.

We never should’ve let the Turkish state emerge after World War I. That was France’s mistake. As usual, America is there to clean up France’s mess.

Can we nuke the UN and the UN headquarters first? All they have done is attempt to bring us into a One World Government. Their flag also seems to prove to me that this theory of a ’round earth’ is completely false. The UN is just playing on our gullibility.

Why is conservatism adopting the intervention tactics created by LIBELrals, anyways? Neoconservatives DIDN’T make 9-11 an inside job (they were right to go after Bin Laden).

  8. What favors has Turkey done for US???? Looks like you have no knowledge of history or the present for that matter…

Who saved American soldiers’ ass in Korea? Who hosted hundreds of American bases in their country during the cold war allowing Americans to spy on the Soviet Union?? Which air base is US using today to fly into Iraq conveniently??? Which border crossings are being utilized to transport goods to US soldiers in Iraq???

You must think before you call people scumbags, especially if those people have always been your allies! What good has the Iraq war brought to the US so far? Turkey used her democratic choice not to participate in that idiotic war. Turkish people were able to see the grave consequences of an unnecessary war, while Americans were so blinded by Mr Bush’s lies… So many lives have been lost in vain & US’ entry into Iraq opened the Pandora’s box, which is why today we are at this point.

US weapons are miraculously finding their way into the hands of the terrorist organization PKK (Blackwater), who in return kill hundreds of innocent people and soldiers!! You think Turkish people should rejoice attending dozens of funerals everyday, and at the same time have great feelings and trust towards US when they know the weapons which kill these people are of US make and that US is not even lifting a finger to do something about it?

For years now Turkish government has been almost begging US to help resolve this conflict, what has US done so far other than playing both sides?

Nobody wants war, but nobody wants to see the death of more innocent people in the hands of terrorists. Isn’t the deaths of over 30 thousand people enough so far?

  11. Dear sir,

As a republican I am amazed at your ignorance. I do not know what state you represent at this time, but it is obvious you did not get a quality education in historical matters. I think to keep your job in the next election you should try and concentrate on local matters since you have no real knowledge about what has happened on this planet outside of the county you grew up in and the historical lessons you may or may not have received from your local preacher. One may use your level of ignorance as a barometer of the quality of public education in your district. Maybe this is something you can concentrate on?
Maybe, by the time the kids attending grade school graduate from high school they may know who won the civil war.

  12. What a pity… Those minds are governing USA…
You should define the term terrorism. USA attacked two countries so far presumebly to catch terrorist. Turkey will also hunt PKK terrorist who nested in northern Iraq, protected by Kurdish local government, unless Iraq delivers them to Turkey. You will see. What a shame that the terrorists are using American weapons. You will learn the value of Turks when they cut logistic support, and usage of bases in Turkey.
By the way, France did not give independency to Turkey, Turkish people won independence under Ataturk’s leadership(The greatest leader in 20th century)

  13. This sounds like a joke! It is so sad and so embarrasing for a US senator to be so ignorant. He calls Iraqis America’s friend. I suppose since he thinks it is ok to kill his friends he accepts Iraqis killing Americans. Nearly 4,000 soldiers have died in the hands of people you call “friends” He has no clue who Turks are, how they have been a loyal ally of the United States forever and have supported USA in every war except this one. And, what a smart choice! It is a losing war senator! There will never be victory I am sad to say because this beautiful country of ours has sent so many its young there and they have died in vain! I had an uncle who fought in the Korean war, he used to say how Turks saved Americans from the N. Koreans. As NATO members Turks aided US in all their cold war operations with tens of bases all across Turkey, sent soldiers to Afghanistan, commanded the ISAF troops in Afghanistan at least two terms, supported US during the first Gulf War, allowed ally planes to fly into N. IRaq since first Iraq war to take in all types of support, aid, supplies and technology for the Kurds to build their land which now turns against the Turks by allowing terrorists being based there. It is a great nation you are talking about Mr. Brownback, proud nation that had empires long before this country was built. And, Turks are loyal friends, I hate to see them lose faith in us, because we will always need them. It is not easy to build friendship and trust, but it is very easy to lose them especially if someone like you gets to vote in US Congress. Simply unbelieable!! You certainlty have made a fool of yourself.

  14. A QUESTION FOR OUR COMMENTERS ON A RELATED TOPIC

So you angry Turks, I have a question for you. What do you think of the Brownback-Biden three state political solution for Iraq? I imagine that none of you are too excited about a Kurdish state on your southern border. Could it work? Or is it a bad idea?

In brief, the idea is to create three states within Iraq: a Kurdish state, a Sunni state and a Shia state with a central government in Bagdad. A loose federation of three states within Iraq. Thoughts?

You can read more about it in Senator Brownback’s own words here.

I think there will be more details on Friday, October 12. So be sure to come back and comment on it after we bring you the latest!

Now, seriously, why would any nation call themselves “Turkey” if they were not just begging to be abused. Definately low-self esteem that may be helped by sending everyone in the country to Baptist Bible School for proper Christian Training.

We are only acting defensively, the Turks have in their hands to prevent Istanbul and Ankara turned in a pile of radioactive rubble. All they have to is value the lives of others like we and President Bush does and we won’t have to send fleets of B52s to rain death from the sky down upon them.

Even all of the European allies except for Britain thought it was a bad idea. And now America needs Turkey. Then why the hell is our stupid congress people voting for the Armenian genocide bill? For 1.5 million Armenians out of 300 million people, we are going to risk the safety of American soldiers if Turkey should decide to close military bases, which the US uses to transport military hardware and supplies? We are risking the lives of our soldiers!

Now, I am pissed. The Armenians obviously are interested in their own self-interest instead of the best interest of the United States. Maybe we should deport them. One more thing, this Senator Brombeck and his blogger fan base should take some history lessons before they make such stupid statements about a NATO Alley. The eastern part should be merged in a new state with Irak, Iran & Syria. That way we will a Arab-free Asia (Arab peninsula considered part of Africa and a Muslim free Europa. The Turks who don’t want to learn Greek can go back to South- and Central-Asia were most of their ancestors come or to Mongolia, were their language comes from.
