Off for the Weekend

Going to work now, from 3 pm Friday afternoon to 7 am Monday morning. A 48-hour shift, according to Adam Nelson.

If you don’t hear from Psycheout this weekend, there’s no need to assume the site’s defunct. I only get 4 1-hour breaks in all that time, and I’m nowhere near a laptop.

  3. I see this is filed under housekeeping.

are you a maid? what kind of job is that for a manly american? seems that maybe you are one of those sleep-in nannies. I can’t believe it.

  4. Come on, ChenZhen.

You should know that sleep is a concept promoted by Satan to get people to stop praying. Only heathens sleep. True believers temporarily phase into enlightenment with the Lord each night.

Sisyphus will sleep when Jesus tells him to.

  9. “You don’t even get to sleep?”

I sleep on Monday. Also, my coworkers let me sleep for half an hour when I requested that they wake me up after 15 minutes. You really only need about 15 minutes’ sleep to last 40 hours of work. They say that General Wellington only got 9 hours’ sleep in the nine days prior to, and during, the Battle of Waterloo. Humans need remarkably little rest, at least in the short term. That being said,

“Ah, so Sisyphus doesn’t require sleep now.”

    Adam is still an idiot.

  11. Sisyphus, I praise you for keeping this site going for so long, but you’re running out of atrocities to advocate. The site was hilarious, but your best days are bhind you now.

  12. Sissyphus,

When you’re back up the Terrorist Ahmedinejad’s speech is an outrage that deserves immediate action here! The Left as gone too far letting the man behind 911 gloat about his little victory at our sacred Ground Zero.

This brings up several questions Christian Americans need to ask themselves; why an anti-American organization like the UN in New York? Why is Columbia university in the US at all? Clearly things are getting out of control.

  13. Arthur Wellesley slept for six hours a day, usually. But even the Iron Duke couldn’t keep up this cockamamie schedule without dying.

  14. BJ, New York and Columbia University have been around far longer than you have. The correct question is: why are YOU still in the US?

And if Ahmadinejad was behind 9/11, why didn’t you guys invade Iran? Oh, wait, Iraq and Iran hate each other? Iran invaded Iraq? Gee, history sure is a bugger, ain’t it?
