Romney Flip-Flops on Sons’ “Service”

Mittens RomneyMittens Romney felt the chill in the air and retracted his earlier statement that his sons’ support for their dad’s run for President is equivalent to fighting the war on terror.  The amazing dolphin boy flips again!

Ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney…admitted yesterday that he was wrong to compare his sons’ stumping for him with the sacrifices made by U.S. troops in Iraq.

Well, no kidding.  B4B already made that pretty clear.

“I’m very pleased and proud of my boys and the help they’re doing for their dad, but it’s not service to the country. It’s service for me. And there’s just no comparison there.”

Gee, why didn’t you say that in the first place?

“I misspoke there. I didn’t mean in any way to compare service in the country with my boys in any way.”

Mittens is either a fool or a liar.  He actually expects us to swallow this bucket of hogwash?  No thanks Mitty, we’re not thirsty.

A reminder: if you ever hear anything Mitt says that you don’t like, just wait a few days and he’ll say the opposite!  Very Clintonesque, Slick Romney.

If you like people who are wrong a lot, you’ll love Mitt. Fortunately he flip-flops so much that he’s right nearly half the time. Romney is as right as a windsock. That’s why one of his nicknames is Windsock Romney.

I don’t know — that man has just shown such a lack of judgement thus far. You’d think during this time, that he would be ultra-careful in what he says and does, but if it’s not cruelty to animals, it’s belittling the sacrifices made by our troops. It’s not the flip-flopping that worries me so much, as I do believe that politicians should have the right to change their minds on issues, if it’s in good conscience (and not just politically expedient). It’s the fact that he just strikes me as really, really DUMB about the whole thing. He must have one fantastic campaign manager with one impressive bleeding ulcer.

  6. Romney clarified remarks that he had misspoken. This sort of thing happens when you’re doing half a dozen townhall events every day…every few days, you’ll say something dumb.

If anyone took Brownback seriously, we’d hear about dumb things he says. You ought to stick to more substansive attacks on Romney, lest it be revealed to your dear readers how desperate you are to go negative.

  8. I am still amazed that there are that many people who would vote for a man with a foot in the mouth problem like Rommey. Do they really want someone who is going have to deal with the critical issues facing our nation like the War on Terror, Illegal Emigration, China, Gay Marriage and Abortion?

  10. Senator Brownback is a phony hypocrite who claims to represent mainstream conservatives views while simultaneously attacking “Traditional values” by making the act of sending a “love letter” a crime.

I am talking about the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 that Brownback sponsored- a blatantly unconstitutional law that seeks to “protect foreign women” by making it illegal for an American man to say hello online to a woman in another country without first having to supply criminal history and personal information.
    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,180487,00.html
Brownback championed the law with the Tahirih Justice Center an Iranian American NGO cleverly playing the “protection of foreign bride” card while masking the true motive which is to prevent American men from communicating or dating “foreign women uninfected by American feminism”.

This law is nothing more than legalized misandry carefully orchestrated by money hungry NGO executives who live lavish lifestyles paid for with taxpayers dollars. This law gives the power to the government and women’s groups deciding the conditions under which American men can romance or communicate.

Lets get to the truth: The only scientific study done on abuse rates of International marriages was done by the INS in 1999 that found abuse rates at a miniscule 1% which was one seventh the abuse rate for all US couples.

Proponents of the fraudulent romance law also claim International matchmaking somehow constitutes “sex trafficking” despite the fact that there has never been a US based matchmaking organization even arrested for trafficking.

The deceptive Brownback arranged a one sided hearing titled “Human Trafficking and Mail Order brides” without allowing testimony from the industry. (Stalin would have applauded).
    http://www.womenspolicy.org/thesource/article.cfm?ArticleID=1442
The testimony consisted of shocking lies and hysteria without even one single specific example of trafficking cited.

IMBRA is a fraudulent waste of taxpayers money that fails to protect women from violence and gives power to radical groups to determine under what conditions an American can communicate .

[Ed Note: Thanks for the spam, Dave. Mmmm. Still looking to hook up with a hot subserviant foreign gal, eh?]
