  1. I appreciate the message and the sentiment, but how am I going to lecture commenters on commenting drunk when, well, er….

  3. It’s okay, he’s asleep right now.

Jack’s just a little drunk right now. He’ll be better later.

  4. I guess he was sober enough to imbed that image of a guy sleeping with a keg.

Well, I certainly welcome this …’poster’. Can’t wait to see how things unravel around here.

  5. Sisyphus,
You’re a kind Christian soul to take Mr. Fremont in. I’m praying you are successful in helping him through this troubled time.

  6. I guess this is what happens when your parody blog runs out of ideas?

    Psycheout does those, moron.

  8. Guilty as charged. I started adding pictures for each post to pep things up a bit. The kids seem to like them.

And Brandy, you’re a real killjoy. I bet you’re a gas to be around, a real life of the party. What’s it like to be a negative Nancy about everything? Don’t answer that; it’s a rhetorical question. I don’t actually care.

Thank you, Helen. If prayer doesn’t work, we’re going to tie him up until he comes to his senses. If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears.

  10. Restraints may be useful but be careful alcohol withdrawal can be physically dangerous as I have learned in my ministries.

  11. Dear Helen,

I have noticed than when struck in the head ever so gently a drunk will fall into a state of compliancy. I learned this when Daniel and I were in D.C. last year and found ourselves making a wrong turn onto a bad street. Here we are waiting for the light to turn with the window down and when you know what* came up to the car window looking for a hand out. I could smell the liquor and that meant that danger was imminent so with a swift pop to the side of his head with my purse he simply stumbled away from the car.

I know Sisyphus does not have a purse but a day planner might work or a hard back book just as well.

  12. I recommend the Heliocentrism Messenger Bag or Tote Bag, myself. Send two messages at once!

  13. If nothing else, one has to admire his devotion.

  14. Wow, I wonder what he has drunken. Oo.
You should tell him to be a bit more cautious when it comes to alcohol.

(Someone being lightly drunk can be fun. Someone being really drunk not. And for this person, the next day WON´T be fun. Period. :))
