Political Pale Horse Unmasked as Parody Blog

Political Pale Horse of the ApocolypseIt would appear that the supposedly conservative Political Pale Horse blog is an elaborate parody. Blogger.com (the parody website’s host) has issued an official statement about the blog that unmasks it for what it is: a big joke. We at B4B are shocked at this news, but the words speak for themselves:

With regard to recent press reports about Blogger.com hosting a blog entitled “Political Pale Horse”.

Blogger.com (a division of google.com) has received some worrying comments with regard to this blog through our admin site. The “Political Pale Horse” site is a parody. Please do not forward any comments with regard to racist language, personal abuse or civil action suits to Blogger.com as we are not responsible for the content on the blog, merely as a host for the site.

Please use the “Political Pale Horse” blog as it was intended: for entertainment purposes only.

Thank you,
The Blogger.com Team.

Crack MSM ReporterFurther confirmation appears to have come from crack Denver Post reporter Karen Crummy, a thorough and vigilent journalist of the highest of ethical standards:

It has been revealed to me that The Political Pale Horse is a parody blog. A spokesperson for the GOP, who didn’t know about the blog site until told by a reporter, declined to comment.

It appears that online spoofs do cloud political stances. This will be an interesting electoral season.

Interesting, indeed. Well I guess that proves it. Political Pale Horse is a parody and thus should be completely ignored and laughed at and pointed at from now on. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t have read it. Words don’t lie. It’s simply amazing.

Who knows what tomorrow may bring….

Anonymous SourceUpdate: An anonymous source from high up in the Republican party had this to say (on condition of absolute anonymnity):

“Frankly, we are flattered that an individual would take hours out of their day and sit behind a computer anonymously to make a parody of the GOP’s consistent, conservative positions on the issues. It certainly is one of the weirder hobbies out there.”

We at B4B agree. It’s a strange, strange world sometimes.

Update 2: Only when the pressure is applied do other conservative blogs discuss whether or not Political Pale Horse is one of their own. Over at Protein Wisdom, Jeff Goldstein refuses to answer whether Political Pale Horse is genuine or not. His only response was “I don’t know who you’re talking about. I’ve never heard of Political Pale Horse.”

When conversations between Political Pale Horse and Protein Wisdom were noticed by B4B readers, we confronted PW. Goldstein quickly deleted the entire post.

Update 3: Political Pale Horse will not appear in our blogroll until further notice. We do not link to parody blogs as a matter of policy.

  2. I don’t know what you’re gibbering about Col. Durden. Why not go to a coffee bar and smoke some hashish?

I have an exclusive breaking news piece and all you can do is question my originality? Give me a break.

  5. Psycheout, this could almost be believable had the supposed “Google Admin” post not come from your IP Address.

Nice try though. And also, please stop posting it on every anti-Brownback post we have on our blog. It kind of gives you away.

  6. But we will give you an award for creativity. We find your post rather humorous.

  7. Dear Psycheout,

Any dealings I have had with those Paleface Politicians have ended with me finding somewhere quiet to vomit. I am appalled and aghast that they would have the nerve to show their faces in what is known as the most respected support-blog for Sam Brownback on the internet. Naturally, mine was once well revered until LIARS and hooligans attacked me. Nevertheless, God will get them, just as He will get those who now persecute you.

Praying that those Paleface Patsies crawl under a rock and hibernate there until after the election.

  8. Authoritarian indeed…

Although, Mrs. Gaines-Crockett, you may want to add “genocidal maniac” onto that list, because you are, in fact, a genocidal maniac.

  9. Dear Autofire,

Back off, buster, I am not in the mood for the likes of a RINO like you today.

Nicely put. And yes, it’s strange that the WordPress team use exactly the same words as the LIEberal moonbat treefrog h4x0r5 who did exactly the same to you.

  11. Psycheout, this could almost be believable had the supposed “Google Admin” post not come from your IP Address.

I’m not sure about that IP thing, but this is a bit of a coincidence. Something similar happened to us. Some commenter (we know who now) left several comments as “WordPress Admin” and other blogs began using that as proof that we were insincere. In fact, people still recklessly do that to this day:

Back in June WordPress issued a statement claiming that Blogs4Brownback was nothing more than a parody site.

You see that? WordPress issued a statement? Poppycock.

Well if that “Blogger Admin” comment turns out not to have actually come from Blogger, I guess you have a decent idea of what happened to us. But it appears that if someone says something somewhere on the Internet, it simply must be true.

    Have a good DAY, sir!

  12. In regards to your questions you posted on PPH:

    1. There’s an easy solution. Check the IP address of the WordPress Admin post and it will clarify whether or not it came from WordPress.

1a. Again, prove it wasn’t from them.

    2. It was the story of Tancredo with the Denver Daily picture. The post no longer exists.

    3. Crummy is a half-assed reporter at best. We take everything she says with a grain of salt.

    4. We aren’t calling your blogs fake. In fact, we believe they are actually run by fans of Brownback. Other people believe they are fake, not us though.

  13. Dear Psycheout,

Do not fall into a debate with the unHoly on the Lord’s day. That is what Satan wants and you are so much better than that.

Praying for your strength and determination.

  15. Thank you, T.D. I do know better than trying to prove a negative. The onus is on those who refer to a comment posted on a blog as “WordPress issued a statement” to prove that assertion.

  18. I am shocked that people on GOD’s internet would post satrical messages. That seems unholy to me.

  19. Oh, come on now. A satirical blog? That simply makes no sense.

Blogs cause their owners to pour their hearts out. That’s true for everyone, from Kos to B4B. I have no doubt Pale Horse is just as sincere as B4B; Kos just reads like humor, but there’s no way it can be, regardless of how funny we find it.

Sheesh. There’s no such thing as a satiriblog. Right?
