Sam Brownback: Proud Second Amendment Supporter

Filed under: Sam Brownback,Second Amendment — Psycheout @ 5:24 pm

Sam Brownback Takes Aim at AmesUnlike gun-grabbing Rudy and America’s Hunter, Sam Brownback truly supports the Second Amendment and The National Rifle Association. It’s been a busy month for the man who should rightly be President:

On Tuesday, the Kansas Republican closed out a month that included throwing out the first pitch at an Iowa Cubs game and riding coach in several Fourth of July parades with a trip to a firing range in Ames to hammer home his stance on a citizen’s right to bear arms.

A inalienable right that he and all thinking Americans respect.

Brownback boasted several times of his “A” rating with the National Rifle Association and his constant support for gun rights during his time in Congress. He added he does not support laws that would weaken the constitutional rights of the Second Amendment, including a ban on assault weapons.

He’s obviously referring to gun grabbing Rudy who supported Clinton’s nationwide assault weapons ban.

“You can take a normal weapon, and with very modest, if any, modifications, it is determined to be an assault weapon,” he said. “And I think that goes against a person’s Second Amendment rights.”

You can be sure that a President Brownback will keep your Constitutional right to bear arms intact.

  2. “Are you left-handed or right-handed,” asked instructor Darin VanRyswyk.

“Right-handed,” Brownback responded, still focused on scoping his target and getting a feel for the gun in his grip.

“Then you should switch hands,” VanRyswyk informed the senator.

“But,” Brownback said, pausing to find a response. “But I shoot like this.”

The instructor let it go as the senator prepared for his first shots.

Aiming at a target 50 yards away, Brownback’s first shot was high. As was his second and third.

He turned around for a bit of advice from VanRyswyk.

I support the right to bear arms, but we should definitely ban assault weapons.

    ps lol JOE

  3. To shamelessly rip off someone else’s idea, and to quote Magneto,

    ‘Humans and their guns.’

  6. Yeah, he´s definitely pro-weapons. Heck, he even voted against a bill banning chemical weaponry in 1997, even though more than 75% of the senate ratified it, including more than half off the republicans. (Said bill was partially a brain-child of, for example, Ronald Reagan!)

And that´s why I´d never vote for him.

  7. German nationals can’t vote in American elections anyway, PG. Of course with all the Democrat party voter fraud, they might just try to send you an absentee ballot.
