Weekend Open Thread

Filed under: Open Thread — Psycheout @ 8:35 pm

What have we missed? We try to catch all the important news of the day, but we can’t catch everything. Our crack research staff only has so many hours in the day to search for campaign 2008 scoops and news items that will be of interest to our diverse readership. And our writing team has only so much time they can devote to bringing those items to you.

Kerry Windsurfing

John F’n sKerry’s weekend (gay lover in background).
Thank the Lord he never became Commander-in-Chief!

So let us know what else of interest is going on. And relevant news tips are always welcome. See the contact page. And if you’re wanting to do some shopping for that special someone, the B4B Store awaits you.

Exit question: What are you doing to help Sam Brownback win the GOP nomination?

Have a great weekend, Brownbackers. See you on Monday.

  1. Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.

  2. How original, Adeline. Perhaps you should trademark that. 😉

  3. Well, that one´s by now almost a week old, but still quite interesting:

Gen. Dan K. McNeill (US Army), CO of ISAF, requested the german government to send him another 1 or 2 battaillons of BW troops as they “have done a really good job in the North.”

Unfortunately, I seem to be a bit late with that. The internet has already ceased to show the news sites. 😦

WEll that and my government just decided to raise it´s military spending for the first time in more than a decade. But don´t fear, they have only risen the base salary for the conscripts. 🙂

  4. Wow, Psycheout, I can’t believe how cold and vicious you’re trying to be. If you weren’t falling flat on your face and making yourself look like a petty fool, I might almost be offended.

  5. We are so blessed that sensible America prevailed twice in electing George W. Bush. I fear to think of what might have happened had Scary Kerry actually won. USA would probably stand for United Sodomites and Atheists.

Praying that sensible America will see victory again in 2008 and in 2012 with Sam Brownback!

  6. Yep, it’s a good thing the Texas Cowboy who could never pronounce “nuclear”, became trapped in televised embassies, and lied about WMDs was elected twice. Yee-haw!

  7. Adam, for once I disagree with you.

This country desperately NEEDED an administration with this much dishonesty and failure.

  8. Oh, this one´s nice:,2933,291355,00.html

At least a little joy for those poor people in Iraq. Hm, perhaps we can see them at the next worldcup. Would be cool.

(It also somewhat shows that a unified Iraq might be still possible.)

  9. That’s true, by showing how terrible a president can actually be, you guys have nowhere to go but up!

  10. Birds do it, bees do it, humans since the dawn of time have done it.

But just how much has the act really changed through the millennia and even in past decades? Are humans doing it more? Are we doing it better? Sort of, say scientists. But it’s how people fess up to the truth about their sex lives that has changed the most over the years.
