Outrage in Blue State “America”

These leftard judges are capable of anything:

A man accused of raping and repeatedly molesting a 7-year-old girl is no longer facing charges because the court took too long to find an interpreter fluent in his native West African language.

Police in Montgomery County arrested Mahamu Kanneh, a Liberian immigrant living in Gaithersburg, three years ago. Prosecutors at first maintained Kanneh could understand the proceedings without translation into Vai, his native language. They pointed out that Kanneh attended high school and community college in Montgomery and spoke to detectives in English.

A court-appointed psychiatrist recommended an interpreter be appointed, and judges who handled subsequent hearings heeded that advice. But officials could not find a competent interpreter of Vai who would stay.

Montgomery County Circuit Judge Katherine D. Savage dismissed the case last week, saying the delays had violated Kanneh’s right to a speedy trial.

Disgusting. They ought to be dismissing this case by shooting the man behind the courthouse, not letting him go free to molest other children. The judge, in true craven, cowardly moonbat style, sheds crocodile tears for the man’s future victims:

“This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make in a long time,” Savage said from the bench Tuesday. She said she was mindful of “the gravity of this case and the community’s concern about offenses of this type.”

That’s nice to know, moron. It’s nice to know that you’re aware that people in the community don’t like having their children molested by the degenerate perverts you set free from jail. I bet this guy doesn’t live in your neighborhood, though, judge. It won’t be your children he picks up.

This is the kind of thing that happens in liberal America. These are the kinds of sub-moronic droolers elected to the judicial bench in leftist areas. That community will be outraged at this idiot judge, but thye’re partially responsible. Either they voted for her, or they voted for the leftist politicians who appointed her.

This sends a powerful message to non-English speaking perverts the world over, though: come to Maryland, do whatever you want. When the judge finds out you don’t speak English, you’re free to go. You can molest someone else in the parking lot, if you want. They can’t touch you, because no one apparently knows how to tell you “You’re free to go, Mr. Pervert, welcome to Leftard America” in your own language. Who knew that freedom to molest children was now a Constitutional right of all non-English speakers?

When President Brownback is inaugurated, this little girl and her family will have justice. Swine like this pervert won’t even make it out of the courthouse alive. And judges like this will be stripped of their robes and thrown out into the streets.

That’s not very Christian of you. (Now waiting for the personal attacks to commence)

I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve avoided this story for a reason. I just can’t stand swine like this. It makes me want to throw up.

I’m not defending this man’s actions. However, murder is definitely not the answer here. I believe it may say something about that in the Bible.

  8. Sam Brownback is a filthy liar. He’s trying to mislead people on Tom Tancredo’s consistent pro-life position. Unlike Brownback nobody has ever questioned where he stood on the issue of the right to life.

Brownback needs to stop these baseless attacks immediately and apologize for what his campaign did to a fellow conservative. Why is Brownback lying to voters?

  9. “That’s not very Christian of you.”

    Brandon,
It is very Christian of us; The Law, not the victim or their family punishes the criminal.

    Brandon, are you a Christian?

  10. Thanks but we don’t need the traffic. We’re doing just fine thanks. Keep the comment up. Don’t give a damn either way.

Brownback completely lied and you’re trying to cover it up. Just another shining example of the Brownback philosophy of hypocrisy.

  11. Political Pale Horse, I’ve heard a rumor that Sam Brownback sneezed last week. We didn’t mention it even once. So I guess by your logic, we’re trying to cover that up too.

We have limited time and resources. We do the best we can. We don’t cover everything. That’s why there’s more than one website on the internet.

We appreciate that you think we are capable of covering anything up. That’s flattering and all. But wholly false.

  13. To BJ Tabor,

Once again, “They ought to be dismissing this case by shooting the man behind the courthouse…”. That should speak for itself. That is not law. That is murder. The law is that you are entitled to a free trial. By agreeing with the above statement you are advocating murder. Huh, didn’t one of those Commandments say something about murder?

Am I Christian? No, but I am no stranger to it. Shouldn’t matter though. Wrong is wrong. Now, BJ, I am still waiting for a valid argument from you–one that doesn’t contain insults.

  14. “You can’t force people to comment intelligently. An open comment policy applies to stupid, drooling, obtuse morons as well.”

Psycheout, you really shouldn’t say such things about yourself. It’s bad for self-esteem.

  15. Thou shalt not kill/murder(depending on what translation). <—hmm thats a biblical Law.

To go on, yes the earthly justice system failed and will always fail, because it is broken. Judging in the end isn’t our job, never has and never will be. Gaines-Crockett, Psycheout, Sisyphus, Bj, and all the others like them do not understand this and never will. They will continuously insult and degrade anyone who talks over their heads.

Peace, Love, Joy, and Self Control v(^_^)

  16. Lazarus,
Where was the self control of this beast who repeatedly raped a seven year old girl? Your defense of any legal system that allows him to walk free is ludicrous.

  17. I didn’t say anyone needs to learn English. If one wants to speak Vai he can go back to Africa and speak it all he wants.

    Comment by Helen Bock — July 24, 2007 @ 8:34 pm | Reply

  18. By the way they couldn’t get a translator because the Vai speakers were too aghast at this man’s behavior to participate in the trial.

    Comment by Helen Bock — July 24, 2007 @ 8:38 pm | Reply

  19. Lets see Maura I was replying to the posts that were going back and forth about murdering(check Bj and Brandon’s post). I was trying to point out that murder/killing in any form is wrong. I was also answering Brandon’s question. My signature are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Before you say it again no that thing(can’t call man no matter what color, after what he did) doesn’t have self-contral.

I said the system failed, meaning that I believe the guy should be rotting in prison. Not walking free. Where do you get the idea of me defending what the judge did, when I said ” yes the earthly justice system failed and will always fail, because it is broken”. Thats not defense.
White or black. Latino or Asian. If you rape/molest anyone you should be thrown into prison no matter what language you speak or can’t. Since our nation worships law and not justice; men and women like him walk away without any punishment.

    Comment by Lazarus — July 24, 2007 @ 10:20 pm | Reply

  20. Also of note is the fact that this man was ACCUSED of this crime. He wasn’t tried. That is, in fact, the entire point of the story. So you would shoot him based on nothing more than an accusation?

    Comment by Salmo — July 24, 2007 @ 11:00 pm | Reply

  21. That was one of my points. The Original Poster would have this man shot and killed without fair trial.

To Maura, Laz was hardly defendingg him.

  22. “A man accused of raping and repeatedly molesting a 7-year-old girl is no longer facing charges because the court took too long to find an interpreter fluent in his native West African language.”

There was a chance that he was innocent. Just because he was accused doesn’t mean he necessarily did it. It is unfortunate that the charges were dropped because of such a thing as lack of translators, but he may not have committed the crime.

  23. “Huh, didn’t one of those Commandments say something about murder?”

It’s not murder when God tells you to do it. There are also something like forty more commandants in God’s law that tells you when to kill people.

    Comment by BJ Tabor — July 25, 2007 @ 9:07 am | Reply

  24. Yeah, but didn’t Jesus negate all of those when he said all that stiff about turning your cheek?

  25. Dear BJ,

“It’s not murder when God tells you to do it. There are also something like forty more commandants in God’s law that tells you when to kill people.”

Ok, I’d like a list of these ‘forty more commandmants for when it’s ok for BJ Tabor to kill people”. I’m assuming that they’re in the bible, right? Also, include page numbers so I can look these up myself.

“It’s not murder when God tells you to do it.”

So are you saying God told you to kill this man?

Thanks in advance for your prompt response!

There are so many it there is not enough space to post it here. However Jesus has provided the Brick Testament, were the Law is done is nice, easy to follow lego pictures.
    http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_law/index.html
They give the book, chapter and verse number so you can look them up for yourself, just in case you think they are a “parody” or something.

I notice the Brick Testament don’t cover making molten images, wearing mixed fibers or using crop rotation, all those are punishable by death.

    Comment by BJ Tabor — July 25, 2007 @ 3:52 pm | Reply

  27. Bj Tabor you make me laugh. Every single one of those things on that page are from the Old Testament. How about actually basing you argument on the New Testament. You know the one with Jesus in it, and love forgiveness. The ability to call him to your life so that he can change you. Whats funny is that you don’t like Jews too much, but yet you insist on using their laws to make you case.

    Comment by Lazarus — July 25, 2007 @ 7:25 pm | Reply

  28. Y’see, BJ doesn’t have any real opinions of his own on Scripture. He has wishes and agendas, and he selects biblical passages that coincide with his aims at the current time. And when there’s nothing in the Bible that could reinforce his extremist re-constructionism, he makes stuff up, like his entire spiel about murder.

By the way, if Jesus was truly Lord, then why do you use the Old Testament as rule of law? Y’know, the one that said that the Jews were God’s chosen, the only ones going to heaven; that wearing two different types of fibre is a deadly sin; where God commands Isaac to kill his son. I love how you selectively decide what to believe in, and then chalk the rest up as to be ignored.

God: So, what’s that you’re wearing there, my child?”
Man: Eh, it’s a half-polyester/half-cotton blend. It breathes pretty well.”
    God: *SMITE!!!*

    The end

    You’re right, it is funny!

  32. Anyone who doesn’t want to kill this pervert, doesn’t have to live in his neighborhood. That’s all I can say. There’s a community in Maryland that wishes the sheriff crotch-shot him as he stepped into the parking lot. No one else has a right to judge their reaction unless they’ve had their children fondled by a pervert under similar circumstances.

    Comment by Sisyphus — July 26, 2007 @ 7:51 am | Reply

  33. Once again Sisyphus totally missed the point. He was accused of the crime, but not found guilty. He had his trial, and true, it was dismissed for a poor reason, but it remains that he is ‘innocent until proven guilty’. Of course, by the way you talk Sisyphus, you’d have it the other way around, so anyone accused of such a thing would be stoned without a proper trial, I’m sure. This isn’t the Salem witch trials, because if it was Mrs. T.D. Gaines-Crockett would have been burned at the stake long ago. Zing!

Well, too bad. This is how the American Justice system works. It’s not perfect, but if you don’t like it…well, you can leave.
