USDA Expresses Concerns Over Mythical Bird Flu

The news article Liberal propaganda in full:  Gaps in USDA bird flu plan could slow response: GAO

“While USDA has made important strides, incomplete planning at the federal and state levels, as well as several unresolved issues, could slow response and delay recovery from an outbreak,” the Government Accountability Office said in its 60-page report.

Worldwide, the highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus has killed 191 people since 2003, according to the U.N.’s World Health Organization. The strain has not been found in the United States.  Of course not because it doesn’t exist.

All I had to read was “highly pathogenic” a.k.a. scientific double talk and “U.N.” a.k.a. UN-American and UN-Chrisitan, to know that the Liberal media must be really bored this morning for them to drag out the old Bird Flu fairy tale.

We all know that Liberals are nothing but a bunch of cuckoo birds, but are they really so desperate for attention that they need to fabricate their own influenza epidemic?  I cannot wait for the day when President Brownback puts a muzzle on the the lefties in the USDA once and for all.  What say you, fellow Brownback supporters?

  1. Horrible interpretation.

Of course this strain of influenza exists. It’s simply that divine intervention from above has prevented the virus from reaching and infecting his chosen people, the Americans, and will continue to protect us from above. While it’s unfortunate the liberal heathens earn the Almighty’s protection without being true believers, it just proves that our protector loves everyone, even those who don’t love him, as long as they’re Americans.

  2. It’s just another attempt to distract Americans from the national debauchery that should be concerning them.

  4. The most important issue facing us today is not inadequate health care coverage, the fact that I work 3 jobs to support my family, or that my sone is in Iraq. We need to focus on keeping imigrants out of our country! All countries! Including the Irish and other Europeans.

  6. I’m confused about a few things. If someone would kindly answer my questions, I’d be very happy.

First off, being from Canada, the terms “liberal” and “conservative” mean different things to me. They are simply the names of two of our political parties (liberals are left like Democrats, and Conservatives are analogous to Republicans). Though politics are rife within Canada, there doesn’t seem to be this huge dichotomy that is present between Liberals and Conservatives in the US, so I’d like to know more about this.

From what I gather on this site, Liberals in the US are essentially the scourge of enlightened living and aim to (eventually) tear down all that has been built. What I’d like to know is your opinion on the Liberal lay-man. Is he just an idiot, a gullible cooly that willingly believes the tall tales of those who command his attention? Or are they all intelligent enough to put true malice behind their own actions? Essentially, are they all just blind sheep, or are they all “on the take”, so to speak?

Also, a cursory glance at some basic polls show Brownback support inhabiting only a few of the central states (don’t know my US geography, sorry!), which seems far behind the other candidates. Do you think Brownback for prez is likely? What are you going to do to ensure a Brownback-controlled USA?

    Thanks for your time,

  8. “What say you, fellow Brownback supporters?”

    You’re still insane.

Actually, I’m disappointed that people finally got your schtick. The “debates” were highly entertaining. I mean, come on, we know you don’t think the world’s flat, or that a 10 year old disproved the theory of evolution with a bad stalactite demonstration… Or that viruses don’t mutate. I’m disappointed that too many people got the joke. It took me about 20 minutes, and I tried to agree with you with a straight face, but I just couldn’t do it.

That you managed it for months was pure genius. I know you’re a comedy writer somewhere, or were auditioning to become one. Personally, I think you’re either James Randi, Phil Plait or PZ Myers, but that doesn’t really make sense. You’re sure as heck not Ann Coulter.

    Colbert? I think that’s a good guess.

    Please come back.

The thing that made this so cool was looking forward to Brownback getting 3.9% of the vote in the first primaries and withdrawing. I wanted to see the reaction here.

Oh well. The cat’s out of the bag now. Why don’t you just lie low, then come back out of it about a month before the first primary? Start looking for signs from God, who doesn’t rule our globe, which is one of several that rotates around the sun, which is part of the Milky Way, which is nowhere near the center of the Universe, around then. It’ll make a great post.

It was hard to keep a straight face for this long, but I think I speak for many of us “supporters” when I see it’s finally coming to an end. This could not have been easy.

I tip my hat and express my sorrow that it’s winding down. It was Excellent theatre.

cause that’s what has fried your brain for sure. If you can’t get with the program, get lost! We don’t need you in today’s America.

(Actually, I thank you for it.)

Yeah, if Ronald Reagan and Jerry Falwell made it to Heaven, I know where I don’t want to go. And I wish there was a way to torment certain individuals for an eternity. Sadly, there isn’t. I think we can all agree that Joe Stalin’s soul should be tortured for an eternity. He certainly deserves it. Right?

Alas, when I die, I’ll simply decompose. But thanks for caring.

  11. Anyone practicing the false faith called “science” should be shipped to Gitmo yesterday. Christ protects all Americans from disease. Therefore there is no need for a real American to ever go to the “doctor.” Thus, anyone who needs to see a doctor, is clearly not a real American.

    Comment by St. Legalize — June 27, 2007 @ 2:36 pm | Reply

  12. And this one was started by my “feminazi” friend!
I’ll start with you then! I believe you’re bored and we’re just looking for a conspiracy that does NOT exist. The U.N. stands for the United Nations…funny huh? The U.N. is kinda like a larger version of the U.S. (that’s the United States btw). It has nothing to do with “UN” anything. “We all know that Liberals are nothing but a bunch of cuckoo birds…” No, you know nothing. You should go back to the place where you first read of me and check yourself. Oh, and Brownback can and will do nothing…I addressed that as well…Should I move that spill here? It may help you out a bit.
Ok, I think I can respond to all eight of you…so find your correct number…
    1) Ummm, the Jews are God’s “chosen.” Yea, that’s in the Bible too. …There are thousands of reasons the strain hasn’t been found in America…like *gasp* it didn’t start here!!!! Oh my. What a thought. And you are yet another person that sickens me with your ignorance. Tell me…what are the characteristics of a Liberal? What are their moral views (these I think you know) their beliefs on governmetn responsiblities (you don’t know) their economic preferences (you don’t know this either, and you probably have no clue as to economics as well) and their thoughts as to the structure of government (you prolly don’t know that). Moral issues aside you will prolly find that you unknowingly like liberal thought when it comes to economics and government. Personally, I’m NOT liberal (I know you don’t agree yet Crockett) with the moral stuff, but economics I like.
    2) Right….let’s all ignore a potential hazard. Right….And the media covers more than that. Not everything they should, but they cover what they can get away with….I’ll leave this alone for a bit.
    3) ??? Lol. Ok.
    4) This is still kinda amusing. 🙂
    5) Yes, most these people are twisted in their view and thought. But, being a Christian, God does rule the universe (not just this planet) as far as I’m concerned. But that is a difference in our beliefs. I write a bit on that later. (I’m answering backwards)
    6) Okiedah, that was twisted. While masterbation is wrong…it does not make you blind or hairy or whatever. And also, wishing another’s burning in Hell is NOT very Christian-like. Jesus wants everyone to go to Heaven…and He wants us to love everyone. He NEVER wants us to wish Hell on another. That’s just wrong, and I can show you in the Bible. You know..the Bible! Crack it open once in a while. If you can manage to crawl out of it with narrow minded misconceptions you may learn a thing or two! And the name calling is getting annoying guys. Please…you remind me of the fifth graders fighting over the monkey bars.
    7) I take you to be atheist then. This saddens me. Though that is your decision. I do hope that you would be open to something… I would like you to know that the people here do not provide a decent view of what Christianity is. I encourage you to research it for yourself. In the end that decision will again…be yours, but the education may be worth it. I love to learn and will take anything and learn from it. You may enjoy it as well.
    8) Actually, Christ does NOT protect against disease. In the Bible it is stated that good people (People of GOD) also suffer, but we are promised a safe landing. (End of life you know the whole heaven deal.) And, being American has NOTHING to do with being Christian…America is the melting pot. It consists of numerous races. The whole world is represented here. Being born on these shores does not make you a Christian (not to be confused with American) either. That is a choice for that person to make. (Free will–God gave it to us because He wanted us to choose.) And Christians exist all over the world. China is actually growing the fastest at the moment and Christians are killed for being what they are over there! Going to the doctor is in no way bad. Christians are doctors to if that is what they choose. Again I will mention that God is logical and Science is simply Man’s way of explaining the processes that God designed in the best way they can.
I’ll leave you peeps alone for now. Enjoy.

  13. Why should my tax money go to prevent a bunch of birds from getting sick? What is it with these bleeding heart tax and spend liberals. I bet they wouldn’t care if some christian got the flu. They would probably applaud, but if some little bird gets the sniffles its big government to the rescue. If this doesn’t prove that liberals care more about animal rights than they care about people, I don’t know what does. Seriously, what is wrong with these “people”.

    Comment by ec1009 — June 27, 2007 @ 7:11 pm | Reply

  14. Umm, ok, I’m sorry…I do think it’s time for someone to point out that the “bird flu” isn’t about a bunch of sick birds. It’s a “pet name” if you will for a certain strain of the flu. The birdies aren’t getting sick…people are. It’s bird flu because I think this is the particular strand is carried, in general, by birds and then passed to humans. This is where basic education comes in. A virus changes. So when a new “strain” comes along new problems arise. The HIV virus changes its “strain” or “code” with each new victim. Once more, simple education could’ve saved you this moment.
Also, Liberals in general want lower taxes for the people. It’s consevatives that don’t like to break as often. (In general). Thought I’d clear that up as well. You people are ignorant to the the different schools of thought in politics and economics, and it makes you look stupid. Learn the characteristics (all of them–not just the ones you don’t like) of Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Republican, Monetarist, Free Trader, Keynesian Economics, and Supply-Side Economics…then rethink thyself. Your stab at the sterotype is blind. You demonstrate what I call political racism. I’ll keep it short–I don’t wish to rant too long at the moment.

  16. Also, as far as my comment #11 goes…I’m a bit dyslexic and in reading through missed some numbers so the divisions there are numbered wrong. Hold on I’ll renumber, lol. 1, 2, and 3 is correctly in there. I missed 4 and 5 so shift my numbers 4-8 up by two (6,7,8,9,10).
Now if you want a real number 4…Illegal immigrants are an issue. There are 12 million of them here from Mexico alone. Each one costs the government 25,000 dollars. Do the math. That’s A LOT of money. It kinda sucks. More on that later…I wrote a paper on that one.
And to the friend from Canada. These peeps haven’t a clue what the snot a Liberal and Conservative and Democrat and Republican really are. The have failed to educate themselves in any form of government/politics….yadda yadda. I’ve been here for a minute and through the other blogs…it’s sad to say the least, but to answer your question…
And Liberal is in general a Democrat. (Note–in general) Liberals are generally for gay marriage, abortion, against capital punishment, and for adoption by gay couples…there’s the moral side of things. In government/economics: Government has a responsibility to the people. They should provide social security and welfare and lots of other aids. Also, they believe that business (big business) should pay higher taxes as their incomes are higher and a little bit more off the top isn’t going to hurt them as it would someone (a household) making say 40,000 a year. It goes on…. Liberals are NOT for the destruction of this country. I personally do not agree with those moral issues with which Liberal thought (not necessarily a liberal) goes with. It’s really prolly not any different here than it is in Canada. These people are just a bit…confused.
So, that was the liberal overview. The Conservative is just a roundabout opposite in general. And like you said with Canada–Democrats are typically liberal and Republicans conservative. Personally, I’m a conservative Democrat. Conservative morals but in general, I like the way the Democrats think about how government should be structured. I can explain in more detial if you would like. Just drop me something here.

Anywho, sorry for my previous numbering issues. 🙂 I bet that looks a little funny.

It depends on the region you live in, and the availability of vaccine. Some areas do have their deaths. Worldwide this one was said to be what? 191? Considering the world population, that’s not a lot, but it could become an issue. Plan ahead. (^_^)

  18. La Mona,
Yeah, thanks for fleshing that out for me. I had an idea that those are just analogues of each other. What I don’t understand is where all this fruitbat hostility comes from in these ultra-conservatives. Sure, we have our nuts here in Canada, but nowhere near this degree, and NOBODY wants to kill “Sodomites” or encourage the Second Coming. In fact, it’s quite scary to see such ignorance still prevalent in an enlightened world where reliable information and education is so readily available. But human ignorance knows no bounds, I guess.

  19. Yea, you have NO idea, lol. One of my buddies showed me this link. It took me to the section of this site that says the world it flat. If you look on the right side of the screen it’s the open science thread link found at the bottom. I was irritated so I posted. If you would like to look go for it. It might give you a better idea of how deep these people are in misconceptions. (And you could see more of my views. Up to this point they haven’t been able to offer retort except in the form of name-calling and false labels.) They claim to be Christians but wish to persuecute homosexuals, “liberals”, and other “undesirables.” They called me the Nazi…last I checked the Nazis followed a Hitler figure that censored what he didn’t like and got rid of “undesirables.” It seems they are more Nazi than I. It makes me laugh…but it makes me somewhat sad for them as well.

Dyslexia is a natural result of attending the secular-progressive, government schools which have ignored Christ in favor of their false God called science. If you had a proper Christian upbringing including a Christian education, your disability would have been preventable. I’m not referring solely to your dyslexia disability, mind you, but also your disability resulting from the fact that you are a Godless, liberal heathen.

Belief in the Lord can solve all your problems, Mona; you should try it sometime.

    Comment by Fascinated and Confused — June 28, 2007 @ 8:27 am | Reply

  22. For my “Fascinated and Confused” buddy….
Dyslexia is NOT a result of secular anything. It is a genetic deal, and has partially to do with my personality as well. My mind works rapidly. It processes at high speeds, and in that some things are skipped over when I try to relay that processed information outside my mind into a form that your think skull might understand. Also, my metabolism is very high. A.k.a., I’m hyper.
Once more–I’m CHRISTIAN! Without Christ I would not be here. He is everything to me. Also, I’m NOT liberal. I have yet for someone in any of these blogs to respond to me with anything but name calling…usually “Liberal!” This is a blind stereotypical response on your part. Also, Science is NOT a false god. Science is Man’s way of putting the processes set up by God into their own words (whether they admit that or not, that’s what they’re doing). Once more, I will mention that God is very logical. He is very relevant. When He designed us, when He designed the round Earth (and “fixed” it into a set path), when He created the flippin’ trees, He had a design…a process. Your body does certain things, no? Ok, how does it do those things? Well, there’s unique design that God placed there. It’s vastly complex and so simple at the same time. It’s wondrous what He did and continues to do.
You on the other hand with all that you believe to be truth is really just misconceptions that you have wrapped your mind around. Read the Bible. It’ll be good for ya. In fact, read it in the message or something because all you people stuck in the KJV are obviously oblivious as to interpretation. That’s understandable considering people spoke differently back in the 1600s. And don’t forget the Bible was written in Hebrew. The thought that the KJV is the untouched one is asinine. King James was actually famous for killing all those who didn’t agree with him, but from what I’ve seen here some of you could go for that no? Oh, yea, did I mention that killing is NOT Christian?
And, no one here as given me the definition of a Liberal. They have NOT listed the characteristics of liberal thought in the areas of econoimcs and government structure. What’s the matter? Scared of education? SCared that I’m right? Or are you just lazy? What I’m poking at with this is your ignorance. Once more–I’m not Liberal. At least not in your narrow view. I do like some of the economics and government structure, but when it comes to the morals I am CONSERVATIVE! Oh dang.
One day (hopefully before you die) you are going to learn something that is going to shatter your world of thought here. *sigh* Maybe later I’ll explain.
On that note, I’m waiting for “rebuttal” that isn’t name calling….

  24. The people here have on numerous occasion been quite enthusiastic when it comes to “hanging” “stoning” and getting rid of what has become my favorite word “undesirables.” Getting rid of could mean persecution in any form…Like in the Open Science Thread where the “torturing” of Muslims, homosexuals, and Liberals is condoned. That is what is coming across here. And how do you know whether someone will burn in Hell or not? Do you really know their life? They could be Christian (depends on who you were talking to…I’m going with the general things I’ve seen in you guys responding to people that disagree with you.) and they will NOT burn in Hell if they were to die this second. Also, the whole “you’re gonna burn!” deal doesn’t work well. If you want to encourage someone you have to go past Mr. Edwards and his sermon of Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. Otherwise, that is what you sound like…wishing people into Hell. Understand? Forgive the misunderstanding on my part (as in what you went in your words not what you view as Truth). At the same time….were you in on some of the other blogs I wrote in in the past few days?

    Comment by La Mona — June 28, 2007 @ 10:20 am | Reply

  25. “And how do you know whether someone will burn in Hell or not?”

Because the Holy Bible, the factual word of God, makes it crystal-clear what is acceptable and what is an abomination to Him. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. It would serve you well to dust off a copy of the Bible and read it for yourself.

    Comment by Mrs. T.D. Gaines-Crockett — June 28, 2007 @ 10:51 am | Reply

  26. And again you misread! When I said that I was refering to whether or not you knew that person personally. You don’t do you? Yes, if you are a sinner who has not accepted Christ when you die you go to Hell. It’s sad and blunt. But that wasn’t what I was talking about. I was asking if you knew if all these people you are stabbing at with “feminazi” and “liberal heathen” and others if they really are Christian or not (do you know without a doubt where we are going when you do not know the workings of our lives? there–I said it in a nutshell). If you are stabbing at them and they are in fact Christian (like myself) then you are doing yourself no good. Placing false labels on me in this fashion even after what I have said about being Christian shows you to be narrow and ignorant. I have done nothing to make you think of me as dishonest with my views. If the person you are stabbing is not Christian then you are jsut pushing them away. The point is to build the “body” right? Not build it with the parts that YOU like. God loves us ALL, and ALL of us have a place. Does that help?
Now that that misinterpretation has been cleared can we move on to something more constructive?

    Comment by La Mona — June 28, 2007 @ 11:37 am | Reply

  27. Dear La Mona,

I don’t know what kind of feel-good, new age cult you attend, but in my church we take our directions directly from the Master. The Lord instructs us, that as Christians, we are to to lead the sinner from their fate of eternity in Hell at any cost. “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” 1 Timothy, 5:20

Do you think honestly that as a Chrisitan I take some pleasure in calling out the sins of others? No, I most certainly do not. However, as a devout servant to the Lord I have a spiritual obligation to do so. I cannot tell you how many times a perfectly good meal or manicure has been ruined because right in the middle of it some swishy homosexual will prance by, or some slut in a skirt cut clear up to her hoo-hoo will slink by, leaving me with no choice but stop what I am doing and rebuke them. It would be much easier just to ignore the sinner, but I cannot.

You just continue to think of me a arrogant and narrow, dear, but don’t you dare take that haughty attitude with me simply because I am the more devout Chrisitan.

    Comment by Mrs. T.D. Gaines-Crockett — June 28, 2007 @ 1:26 pm | Reply

  28. Did I mention that you make me laugh?
“we are to to lead the sinner from their fate of eternity in Hell at any cost.” Do you think your harsh words are working? There is a time for hard words, and there is a time to be gentle. People don’t take well to the harsh side that you offer. (Take a moment learn some basic Psychology…you know, the study of the workings of the human mind.) Have you ever thought that being the nice person is more encouraging than what you are up to? Be funny. Be personal. People are more likely to listen to someone that has a relationship with them (don’t twist that–you should know what I mean). There are some people that you are called to reach and there are others that will be nigh impossible because you can’t connect in that way. That’s why the whole body has to function together. It’s really a nifty system. It’s awesome. Understand? You really think you are more devout? How would you know? Do you know my life? No. You don’t know what I go through. You don’t know all the people I influence. And it’s not a haughty attitude either. I really don’t think you understand, and it seems I don’t have time to hang around. I need food. I’ll put the explanation on my to-do list, ok?
    Enjoy for now.

  29. To Madam Crockett,
Devout anything is NOT a virtue. I could be devoutly convinced that the moon is made of green cheese. Notice how that doesn’t make it so.

You continually pervert the ancient word of Christ. Instead of following his teachings and spreading peace and compassion in your wake, you use religion as an excuse to be a real asshole to everybody else. The fact that you denounce science and our God-given rational ability spits in the face of our creator, showing him that you are absolutely unappreciative of the gifts he graciously gave us. By limiting your frame of reference so narrowly, you insult God by refusing to use that gloriously complex and powerful brain that he gave you. Science is not the devil. YOU are. You’re the reason Brownback will never come into power, because the world is not ready to self-destruct from your horrifying ignorance.

You’re exactly like Ahmadinejad. Exactly, and to the letter. Mull that over.

The one who gave it all to God without a care for who heard was the sincere one. Do you know this story Crockett? I can find it for you.
