Ward Churchill is on his way out the door: [Findlaw]

The president of the University of Colorado has recommended that a professor who likened some September 11 victims to a Nazi should be fired, according to the professor and the school.

Ward Churchill, a tenured professor of ethnic studies, has denied the allegations and threatened a lawsuit if he is dismissed.

CU President Hank Brown made the recommendation in a 10-page letter sent to the chair of the committee that handles tenure issues. University spokeswoman Michele McKinney confirmed published reports about the recommendation Monday but said the school would not make the letter public.

The liberals are about to lose a towering shield of their rotten academic edifice. Does this mean that Americanism will begin to softly filter its way back onto college campuses? Only time will tell.

For my part, I think Churchill is one of the most repulsive scumbags in American history. There’s no reason why taxpayers should have to chip in to pay his salary- or his welfare payments. Then again, this IS Colorado. Who knows what those crazies want to do with their money? Anyway, in another era of American history this clown would be chipping at rocks in Leavenworth for what he said. They should rebuild the World Trade Center, then put him in a prison cell in the top of it. Let’s see if he roots for his buddy Osama then.

  1. That’s one down, but there are a lot more where he came from. Harvard, Berkeley, Princeton…I’m looking at you. You’re all on notice.

  2. Don’t forget Stanford, Yale, and Brown. And I’ve heard rumors that there are unreconstructed liberals at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa we ought to be looking into as well.

  3. Stanford is safe. That’s where the Hoover Institute is!

  4. Interesting, because taxpayers only pay 10% of CU’s operating costs due to pointless and unpopular taxcuts under the TABOR bill a few years ago. Cut taxes a little more and you will have no influence over university practices! And Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and Brown are private, and so can do as they please without nosy conservative politicians looking to brainwash students. No wonder they are some of the top universities in this great country!

I’m no fan of Ward Churchill either, but the way all of his has played out over the past few years has smelled of a witch hunt, rather than proper university procedure. Once he’s gone, who will you have to hold in contempt?

We can easily lobby people to stop financing this sort of nonsense out of their own pocket, as well. Wait until the moonbats find themselves at the mercy of Republican pursestrings. You’ll quickly see them shape up their act!

Anyone else who thinks like him, speaks like him, and is paid with our dollars to teach our children at our universities like him. We have a right to some say on how our tax dollars are spent!

Ha. That’s a laugh. I think we all know who’s doing the brainwashing at universities, and it certainly isn’t conservatives. Not that I can really blame you; after all, if students actually learned to think at college instead of being force-fed liberal propaganda, the Democrat party would wither and die within a few years.

  9. rob,

Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and Brown are not Private Institutions, they are Socialist Institutions which are Unconstitutional and should be shut down.

  10. I never did like that Churchill fellow. I’m glad he’s finally getting his comeuppance. Hopefully, his next job will involve a squeegee.

Everyone buys a degree. Not everyone earns one. Bush did.

  15. Hillary Clinton’s National Service Academy makes the news; the Duke lacrosse team fiasco even makes the news by showing that liberal educators have created a phony cultural paradigm that distorts reality. But, Hillary’s other phony paradigms, obfuscations of truth, and gaming the system doesn’t. What is a girl to do?

Shades of Ward Churchill: I Got Your University; Right Here

Set the Wayback Machine for 23 August 1995: a hot day in the nation’s capitol. But 3000 miles due west on California’s Central Coast, a constellation of events was unfolding that would have a profound effect on Western civilization; plunge it into war. Yet, this cataclysmic upheaval was only part of the plan. Bill Clinton picked up the telephone. It was his Chief of Staff Leon Panetta, calling from a payphone in Monterey. Bill held the receiver at arms length and gazed at the tasteful floral arrangement that adorned the Oval Office. Leon’s disembodied voice filled the room. What now, asked Hillary. It’s that damn college, mouthed Bill. There was, no getting out. Hillary nodded, just tell Leon he’ll get whatever he needs: http://theseedsof9-11.com
