Gonzalez holds his own today in testimony with the Congressional moonbats, and now even the mainstream media is beginning to get the message- that Gonzalez should stay.
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales confidently deflected House Democrats’ demands Thursday for details in the firings of U.S. attorneys, appearing ever more likely to survive accusations that the dismissals were politically motivated.
Now that yet another groundless, baseless investigation of the Bush Administration is slinking away, I think it’s time that someone investigate the investigators for a change. We all know that Democrat politicians are as dirty as used diapers; wouldn’t it be nice if someone were allowed to look into that and bring charges? Someone like, say, the Attorney General, who’s been distracted from this necessary work by endless and baseless accusations?
Come to think of it, maybe there was method in this moonbat madness after all. We’ll find out soon what the Democrats have been deflecting attention from.
UPDATE: Those moonbats sure are clueless, aren’t they?
It would have been subtler if the White House tacked a target on Gonzo’s back and cried, Duck season! Although I suppose that the alternative, admitting their own role in obstructing justice, would bridge that shrinking gap between public scandal and indictable behavior. The perps don’t have any good options right now.
It boggles the mind how they can misread a story so badly. I have to say that it’s wilfull, because no one could really be that dunderheaded and still know how to type.
