Democrat Republicans

It turns out that some Republican candidates support the murder of infants:

After months of conflicting signals on abortion, Rudolph W. Giuliani is planning to offer a forthright affirmation of his support for abortion rights in public forums, television appearances and interviews in the coming days, despite the potential for bad consequences among some conservative voters already wary of his views, aides said yesterday.

Of course, the rest of the Republican candidates are really Republicans, right? Right?

Former Gov. Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, gave an $150 donation to the abortion-rights group Planned Parenthood in 1994, at a time when Romney considered himself effectively “pro-choice,” the Romney campaign confirmed today.

Campaign spokesman Kevin Madden said Ann Romney had no recollection of the circumstances under which she donated the money.

I feel like this speaks for itself. If you support America, vote Republican. If you support baby murder, vote Democrat. Why some candidates have chose to confuse the two is difficult to understand, unless their pollsters have (correctly) pointed out to them that running as a Democrat is electoral poison.

Frankly, I’m too disgusted to say anything else.

  1. Sorry, you can’t compare the two. Giuliani is the canidate, and he donated a large sum of money over a long period of time. Ann gave a small amount once, and is not running for anything. The Giuliani story is big, the Romney one, is not news.

  2. Romney’s flip-flopped on abortion just as much as Giuliani has, Matt. That’s why they call him Flipper…
