Homosexuality Cast Aside!

Charlene Cothran, a former sodomite and sinner of the first order, has officially renounced her sinful ways. Would that all homosexuals might likewise embrace the Love that moves the Earth and the stars!

I always knew that homosexuality was wrong. The seed of truth was planted long ago. But the sin in my life squashed it. I’d go to church if it was Christmas, but I never allowed myself to get to the point where I felt conviction. I hardened my heart over and over against the Word.

As you get older, life begins to unfold in a real way. Loved ones die, and you end up dealing with your own mortality. I first felt something change during Black Gay Pride in Chicago in 2001. It was a beautiful day, and I could see men with men and women with women as far as the eye could see. But instead of feeling pride, I looked out and felt sadness. These were individuals that grew up in the church, but now they were worshipping idols. And I was part of leading them down the wide road of destruction.

Meanwhile, what does to pro-sodomy, anti-life moonbat media think of all this? They’re quite silent on the issue. Who does that surprise, though, really? It’s very important to the homosexual agenda that its “incurability” be broadcast far and wide. If the people found out the truth about this sinful lifestyle, the repercussions would be far-reaching indeed. So, a cult of lies and silence surround the good news that there is a new life for former homosexuals willing to embrace Redemption.

  1. A serious commentator would at least look at, and preferably cite, the success statistics of the many religion based efforts to “de-gay” people. One would find that they are appallingly low. “Cult of lies and silence,” indeed. And then rewrite the final sentence to read “one former homosexual.” Politics by anecdote is not strongly convincing. And it’s especially dangerous in this area–conservatives/republicans who have come out of the closet over the last 6 months will overwhelm your numbers.

How is it a choice? I have a friend who’s gay and she’s going through serious emotional trauma because she’s having problems dealing with it. Do you think she chose to be that way? You freaking idiot. Are you aware that scientists have found genes present in homosexuals that are not present in heterosexuals? This means that homosexuality could be determined by genes one gets from their parents.

Here is an excerpt from a document of the American Phsycological Administration:
“[Homosexuality] is found in about ten percent of the population, a figure which is surprisingly constant across cultures, irrespective of the different moral values and standards of a particular culture.” A constant, or essentially constant, percentage such as that one probably wouldn’t happen randomly. It is not entirely far-fetched to say that approximately 10% of different populations have genes that make them homosexual, however it is far-fetched to say that approximately 10% of various societies MAKE THE CHOICE to be homosexual.
So as much as I love to sit here hearing my friends being insulted by people who are too stupid to do any research for themselves…
