We’re All in Danger!

Terrrorists have now developed air forces:

Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tigers have carried out their first aerial attack, bombing a military base by the international airport north of the capital, Colombo.
Three air force personnel were killed, officials say, and 16 people injured when the bombs hit a parking area for planes and helicopter gunships.

This is bad news for all of us. Al Qaeda could easily emulate these tactics and methods, employing them here in America or against our troops in Iraq. I think it may be time to require all single-seater airplane pilots to register with Homeland Security.

Hat tip, Plain Vanilla.

  1. Yikes! I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. Thanks again for keeping on top of world events, Sisyphus.

  2. Scary stuff. What has homeland security done for us lately?

  3. Homeland Security has kept the Tamils and their allies, Al Qaeda, from attacking us with air strikes since 9/11/01, Becky. I think they’re doing a pretty good job of it.

  4. They have no need to fly into the country when they can join the invading hoard crossing our borders on foot and by way of vans and 4 wheel drive trucks. Once inside our borders, if they are caught, the catch and release program is in force. Smugglers of every stripe know this and use it to advantage to smuggle in human cargo plus whatever thay are carrying.

The terrorists of 9/11 came in on legal visas and acquired their lethal weapons (the jets) after being taught how to fly them. They didnt bother to learn how to land because it would not be necessary.

With the ‘Retreat if Confronted’ paper pusher National Guards at select border locations, and AG Gonzales’ Federal Prosecutor Johnny Sutton using drug smugglers as star witnesses against law men who attempt to apprehend criminal smugglers, our border is more open than it ever was. Sure the border patrol catches OTMs and deports them, and there are many who make it according to estimates from the border patrol. How long before a nuke smuggled in over the border is set off in a major city?

This is our Homeland Security in action.

I think we should do more about this. I think we should send troops into Mexico, if necessary, to put an end to it. But once people are here, the way the laws are currently crafted, you can’t do anything. That’s why we either need an amnesty program, or a Constitutional amendment giving the President the authority to do what needs to be done.

“How long before a nuke smuggled in over the border is set off in a major city?”

I think you’d like what these Scrutator guys had to say about that.

  6. I’ve been reading Scrutator a lot lately, jrfoleyjr. I have to admit, I like the way those people thought about many things. I’m not sure that Brownback is right on amnesty, but I still think he’s the best candidate out there.

  7. This isn’t surprising… the Muslim KLA group in Kosovo purchased 50-caliber rifles from America and they’re probably still in use against our troops. If we’re going to require all planes to be registered, we sure as heck need to be diligent about registering those types of military arms.

I’m not sure about this, though. There is a Second Amendment out there. I don’t want to interfere with anyone’s right to bear arms. That’s a much more complicated issue, if you ask me.

  9. Nukes?
    They don’t exist!

If they existed it would mean scientists are right about nuclear physics and relativity (which would rule out the ether)!

Since scientists are wrong about everything (except the Second Law of Thermodynamics of course), nukes do not exist, you hear me, they do not exist!

I’m telling you, all lies, damned liberal/communist/tree-hugging/fag-loving/hippie/secular/abortionist lies!
