Vision America on Sam Brownback

Filed under: Sam Brownback — Psycheout @ 7:30 pm

Those of you who aren’t aware of Vision America should definitely check it out. Their mission is “Restoring the Original American Vision.” A renewal of moral values is nigh and they are sounding the call.

The latest All But One of The Presidential Candidates Now On Record Denying The Word Of God. You can guess who he is referring to: Sam Brownback of course. And he’s absolutely right. He outlines other candidates’ reactions to General Peter Pace’s comments about homosexuality and then comes to Sam Brownback:

The sole exception to this shameful display was my friend — and last year’s recipient of Vision America’s highest honor, the “Hero of the Faith” award — Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), who said criticism of Pace was “both unfair and unfortunate.”

“We should not expect someone as qualified, accomplished and articulate as General Pace to lack personal views on important moral issues,” Brownback observed. “In fact, we should expect that anyone entrusted with such great responsibility will have strong moral views.” To which I would add only a fervent amen!

I would like to add an amen of my own. Amen! Scarborough closes with:

America is sadly in need of renewal. Pray that there’s at least one candidate on the 2008 ballot who unabashedly embraces and represents Biblical values.

You can bet we will, Rick. We pray for this every single day.

  1. I have no problem with Sam. I probably agree with him more than Rudy. But I think Rudy can win the general. I’d rather win with him than lose the general with someone else like Sam Brownback and see Obama or Clinton be my next president. That said, of course if he gets the nomination I will do what I can to help.

  2. I’ll have to check out Vision America later, but it sounds like Rick’s got it right on this one.

  3. Understandable Ben, but what is the point of nominating someone who doesn’t share your values? Giuliani is closer to Clinton than he is to Reagan. That’s why I cannot support him.

I’ll seriously consider the Constitution party or some other third party candidate if Rudy gets the nod. I could not in good concience vote for a pro-abort gun grabber. Never, ever. Not going to do it.

But thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you become a frequent visitor as conservatives discover that they have more in common with Sam than they do with Rudy.

  5. Sen. Brownback is a great man and Rick Scarborough is a visionary. America is due for a revival of its core values.
