Sam Brownback: End the Genocide in Darfur

Naturally Students for Brownback picked up on this before I did. So head over there to read the details. I think this is important to bring to your attention because the situation in Darfur is horrendous and something needs to be done. For Sam Brownback this is an issue that transcends politics. He really is compassionate about “all life.” This is simply yet another example among many that demonstrates this.

“The American people have shown their compassion by calling for an end to the genocide in Darfur,” said Brownback. “More than 200,000 people have died in Darfur and more than 2.5 million have been displaced. I encourage all Americans, from lawmakers to civilians, to do their part to end the genocide in Darfur.”

Sam Brownback is truly a “bleeding-heart conservative” who is “pro-life, whole life.” For this reason, and many others, Sam Brownback deserves support and recognition from those across the political spectrum. Well done, Sam. Well done.

  1. Brownback will do more about genocide than any Democrat since Roosevelt. That’s guaranteed.

  3. There are more details on the Students for Brownback site, which I urge you to check out, as it’s a really fantastic site. I tried to copy-paste what was on their site in regards to the specific actions he recommends, but my computer is being persnickety, so it won’t let me.

  4. This sounds like something even the lefties would be able to agree with, even if it comes from a good solid Republican like Brownback. Good for him!
