Good Website Find

I just found a blog called Scrutator; it seems to deal with many of the same issues that fascinate me. It appears to be defunct, however.

I like many of the science posts there, though. This one fellow, GOP4Me, really seems to understand the fundamental silliness behind evolution. Here’s an excerpt from a post making fun of Darwin:

So there you have it. Lie by lie, brick by brick, together as Americans, Christians, scientists, teachers, and scholars, we can destroy the edifice of the great lie of evolution. Here is another useful resource in the struggle, a website whose inestimable value to the cause of fighting the myths of Darwin and Copernicus cannot be overstated.

A powerful rallying cry for everyone who cares about America, science, and faith. I’ll analyze the site more closely, and if I find anything else that looks interesting, I’ll be sure to post about it.

UPDATE: Allegedly, Scrutator is a phony site of some kind. This bears further investigation…

  1. hello. scrutator was a fake satirical blog. all they did was aggregate all the asinine crazy things you wingers say all the time, to see what kind of freaks they could draw out of the woodwork.

good to see you can’t tell that, tho.

  2. Ok I think it’s a foregone conclusion that Sam will win Kansas in a general election, but lose Lawrence. Does that mean Sam will be wearing purple?

As a Jayhwak alumn myself, Sam would lose my vote hands down if he were to root for the wildcats.

Avoid the scorched Earth Primary, even if you ar ebehind right now. McCain and Guiliani will do themselves in given enough time to speak, and Romney is a Mormon flip flopper. Brownback and Newt could pull it off…

  3. Brownback and Newt would make an excellent ticket, I think.

  4. Whether Scrutator is a joke or not doesn’t really matter. The truth is the truth. It seems to be dead for now. I’ll take a closer look when I have more time.

I don’t know if I’d take prozacula’s word for it though. We don’t want to smear another blogger’s work based on the hearsay of an anonymous commenter with a silly name.

Some good insight there, dav. Thanks for that!

  5. I read somewhere that Scrutator was a fake site but I don’t know if it’s true. It could just be someone with a good sense of humor going over the top to torment the lefties who stumbled across it. If it’s been retired it doesn’t really matter that much either way.

  6. It seems to me that if the articles, links, and discussions are good, it doesn’t matter WHAT the intent behind it was.
