Breaking News: Terri Schiavo’s Brother for Sam Brownback

According to The Buzz, a St. Petersburg Times blog, Bobby Schindler, brother of the late Terri Schaivo who was murdered by the state at the insistence of her husband, has endorsed Sam Brownback for President.

“Mitt Romney’s alleged pro-life conversion evidently does not to apply to all human life,” said Schindler. “The pro-life movement needs a leader we can trust in 2008 and I know Sam Brownback is that leader.”

Could this be the beginning of the tidal wave of support by religious conservatives for our pro-life conservative candidate? Watch for other conservatives and religious groups to recognize RINO Rudy and Flipper Romney (both soft on issues of life and death) for what they are. Hint: they’re not conservatives.

  1. The Brownback buzz keeps building. It’s going to be hard to keep up if the news continues coming in at this rate.

    Go Sam!

  3. If it highlights the pro-life positions of Brownback compared to Rudy and Mitt, it can’t hurt.

  5. This is probably the turning point of the entire campaign! What excellent news!

I’m off to Mass, to thank the Lord for this mighty salvation.

  6. This is an important endorsement for Brownback. While only 40% or so supported Terri Schiavo’s fight for life and those who stood with her, the vast majority of those are the people who will be voting in the GOP primary. And its not just 40% happen to think this stance is true or acceptable, most of that 40% are passionate and feel strongly about this issue.

The endorsement also reinforces Brownback’s image as the candidate who cares about all life, a consistent standard that I believe will earn more and more respect the more people see he is consistent on.

  7. That is an excellent point, Noonan.

And you’ve got some great analysis on your blog that more people need to read. Can you say “blogroll?”

  8. Bob, believe me, it helps. It looks like everyone’s already covered why. How is this being covered on the news?

I don’t have cable. When I did I was tempted to throw my tv out the window.
