Sisyphus 4 Brownback

As new bloggers come onboard I think it’s high time that we pay tribute to the biggest Brownback booster on the block. I’m of course referring to our very own Sisyphus. He joined this blog at the very beginning, day zero, February 23, 2007, one month after Sam Brownback announced his vision for America. And an idea and a dream was born.

For two weeks Sisyphus soldiered on alone, knowing what Sam’s candidacy meant for America: redemption and a rebirth of true conservative values.

Although excited about doing my part to support Sam Brownback, the next President of the United States, I was also a bit afraid to lend my voice to Blogs 4 Brownback. But Sisyphus encouraged me, gave me suggestions and pointers and gave me the confidence to speak my mind right here on this blog. For that I thank him.

Almost singlehandedly, Sisyphus has helped get Sam Brownback (well Sam and his campaign staff has to have had some small part in this) within five points of Hillary Clinton, the MSM favorite for 2008.

For this, and his hours of selfless dedication to renewing America, I salute you. Sisyphus, you are an inspiration to us all.

I hope I speak for j, deltared and the others lurking in the background. But I can at least speak for myself. Well done, my friend.

Special props and a shoutout to our good friend David who lauched this website and invested his own money to make this happen. We love you. And I bet Sam does too.

I also want to thank our commenters and the commenters to be. Without you, we would literally be nothing.

Now, on to to the most important work of all. Let’s roll up our sleeves and git ‘er done. Let’s get Sam Brownback elected as the 44th President of the United States!

  1. I didn’t realize Sisyphus was running this mighty whirlitzer all by himself all this time. Good job, dude!

But what’s up with the new look? I liked things the way they used to be. I guess that makes me conservative. ROTFLMAO!

  2. Aw, shucks. Thanks! You’re embarrassing me!

Anyway, this isn’t about me. This is about Brownback, and about taking back America. Let’s get out there and win this thing!

  3. Thank you, sir. I’m not the most computer literate guy in the world. Heck, my nephew had to help me set up my computer at home and he’s only 11. But I know running these things takes a lot of time and effort and I thank you. You are right when you say this is bigger than one person, but we all know how one man can change the world. With supporters such as yourself and the other people here I know Brownback has a better shot than anyone else on either side.

  4. Oh, you flatter me, sir. I’m but a humble supporter of the greatest candidate since a certain someone from Crawford, Texas entered the political ring. Brownback is the only one I know of this time around who has a shot at continuing the legacy of greatness bequeathed unto him by President #43. It’s these great men who deserve all the applause here.
