Alternative Flat Tax

Filed under: Taxes — deltared @ 8:56 pm

I’d like to thank the Bloggers here for inviting me to post. I’ve followed Sam’s carreer for a while and am extremely exited about his candidacy. While Sam is obviously a G-d fearing man and will help move this country forward in accordance with His word, one of the things I’m most excited about and one that I haven’t seen mentioned on these pages yet is his views on taxes. From the front page of his website we find a stark contrast to the tax-and-spend policies of liberals.

And we need more opportunities—not more taxes. I’ve never voted for a tax increase, and I certainly will never sign one! But that’s not enough. We need a different income tax system altogether. This one, the Internal Revenue Code, should be taken behind the barn and killed with a dull axe.”

Exactly right. The Government takes and wastes. We all know the Government by definition is a garbage disposal for hard working American’s hard earned money. What we need is a taxation system that mirrors the free market system that has served this country well for it’s long and proud history. Sam in his next paragraph proposes just that.

I propose the creation of an alternative flat tax, which lets the people choose which system works for them.

This is exactly what this country needs. A choice in how we pay taxes. When I get a new phone in my house, I can choose who will deliver the service, why can I not choose which tax system works best for me. An alternative flat tax is exactly the medicine this country needs to put to bed forever the endless paper work of the current tax system, the endless taking of the current tax system, the endless time spent by hard working Americans who have families to tend to. Don’t like your current tax system? Choose an alternative! Don’t like that one? Choose a flat tax, or an alternative flat tax! It’s up to you, and your situtation.

Sam is right on the button with this one!

  2. Thank you, lyssie, for pointing that out. I’ve added an attribution for this post. I’ll go back and sign past posts that haven’t been signed. If I mess anything up or credit those who wish to remain anonymous, I’ll eat my hat. LOL.
If any WordPress experts can tell us how to get author names in the posts, that would be very helpful. We’re all computer illiterates here, I think. Sorry if I’ve slandered anybody. Heh heh.
One thing we aren’t illiterate about is our respect for Senator Brownback, rightfully the next President of these United States. Semper fi!

  3. The flat tax is an idea whose time has come. Sam Brownback is 100% right, 0% wrong.
Off Topic, but this blog is really heating up. Sisyphus has really reached out to some of the smartest bloggers in the business. Kudos! I’m recommending this blog to all of my friends. I can’t wait until Sam Brownback is the 44th Commander in Chief of America!

  5. I can’t wait to see the look on those smug liberals’ faces as the American people stream past their chosen, irrelevant candidates, and toward the guy who knows how to put food on the nation’s tables. This flat tax will give us all back our money, keeping it away from the rapacious government-beast who’s been gobbling it down all these years and squandering it on useless garbage like welfare and the National Endowment for the Arts. Once people understand that they can have their money back, in their pockets and out of Shritlery Clinton’s, they’ll pick the right Uncle Sam 99 times out of a hundred.
